Brookfields Community Dental Services

Filling came out after two days and can not get another appointment now I have a big whole in my tooth which is cutting my tongue it’s been a month now. Being toldI can’t be seen every time I call.

I was stuck at the beginning of lockdown with a failed filling and without a dentist. These people have been amazing. Their emergency care is fantastic. From the receptionists to the dental surgeons, I have had nothing but compassion and going out of their way to help. They are the best dentists I have ever visited and I wish they took regular patients!

Amazing staff and dentists .I can honestly say it was the best dentists visit I'd ever had . Was made to feel at ease such friendly people .feeling kinda sad that I hope not to see them again .such a amazing dentists would definitely recommend

Had a emergency appointment at this Brookfield nhs emergency dentist on Monday morning at 8-30am because I had a loose wisdom tooth, and had a infection in there as well.I arrived about 10 minutes beforehand because I knew there was forms to be filled out, so all forms filled out on a Ipad then told to take a seat, ladies on the reception desk were pleasant enough but not overwhelming, whilst I was sitting waiting a few of the nurses where walking back and forth and they were very pleasant and some were very talkative, which I like because I'm a very talkative man myself.Anyway I got called into the surgery and I was greeted by the dentist man Ian hunt, and I was very impressed and surprised that he remembered me from about 2 years ago, so a quick chat and then Ian took a look at the tooth in question, and rightly he confirmed the tooth was loose and probably had a infection in there in the previous few days, so Ian said it would have to come out, so after some local anaesthetic put in the gum I literally waited about 5 minutes whilst the nurse told me about the after effects and what to expect.Then the gum was num by this time and Ian easily pulled the small wisdom tooth out, no pain at all, no feeling, infact no discomfort at all, and that was probably down to the fact the tooth was loose, and also it was a very small wisdom tooth.All done and dusted and I was out of there.But may I just add this is a very good nhs emergency dentist, Ian is a very professional, polite and very friendly and reassuring dentist and I would recommend that if anyone is a little nervous about going to the dentist, please get a appointment with Ian, and you won't be disappointed at all.Keep up the good work Brookfield dentist surgery, I dont know what I would do without you.Thanks for a very good professional service Ian, you are a top man.Bill Hazlegreaves

Was referred as my dentist said I might need sedation for two root canals. Saw dentist called Thomas. Put me at ease and after x rays said two repair fillings only needed. One at end of month but reception could only get 2nd filling in Feb 2024 !! Nice friendly staff .

Saw dentist Ian today. What an incredible dentist he is. Made me feel incredibly calm and welcomed and helped with my dental issue. Thank you!

I had an appointment today as an emergency slot (my dentist had stopped doing nhs work part way thorough my treatment). I was in a lot of pain and feeling quite unwell/drowsy. Not sure of the dentists name, but he was very kind and gentle, spoke with no judgment (I’ve found a lot of dentists in my experience judge you by your dental health). Gave appropriate treatment and asked to come back next week to remove the tooth once my infection has gone.I’ve used emergency dentists at Peterborough before who were rude/judgemental/rough, refreshing to have a caring NHS dentist.

We received wonderful dental care for our kid here. Mr Thomas is incredibly kind, and he really knows how to work with sensitive kids. I can't recommend him highly enough. We always felt supported by this clinic - they cared for us with no judgment. Just acceptance and top-quality care.

I had a traumatic experience the week prior to my appointment at brooksfields.. my dentist in kings Lynn attempted to remove an ankylosed tooth and couldn’t, leaving me in a lot of pain. ( and a lot of pain during procedure)I was very nervous attending this appointment, but wow! The staff were fantastic and the dentist who removed my tooth ( can’t remember her name) was amazing. She was so gentle and caring. I felt no pain whatsoever. The tooth took a while to remove, but I felt in such safe hands. Thank you so much! Restored my faith in NHS services. ( I paid privately before and the treatment in K.Lynn was awful):)
