I researched a number of companies offering new build snagging services and chose Joe Malone because of his extensive credentials and experience. I am very glad I did as Joe identified significant issues with our Bovis home, some of which would not have been immediately apparent to a lay-person. These included a gas safety issue and serious defects with the mortar work, roof and drainage. Had we not appointed Joe, we may well have been oblivious to this day, with many problems storing up for the future. Joe provided two reports: one written and one photographic, both of which were extremely helpful in terms of communicating the issues to Bovis. Joe is very committed to what he does and provides a highly professional and friendly service. I have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone purchasing a new build home.

Lindsay and I employed Malone Associates in the summer of 2015 to survey an old property in the Nottinghamshire area.The building in question was a windmill which had been converted for residence in the the 1980s, built circa 1800.Because of the unique nature of the property, we wanted a surveyor who we trusted, got on well with, was friendly, approachable and good at explaining the things that we didn't understand! With Malone Associates, that's exactly what we found!During my research into the choice of surveyor, Malone Associates stood out to me as being absolutely passionate about architecture, conservation, renovation and restoration of iconic and old buildings and very willing to answer any of my questions. Malone Associates surveyed my current property and I was very impressed with the honesty and detail gone into during survey. Nothing was too much trouble if you asked about something you did not understand.I was thankful for the absolute professionalism and asked if they would survey a property I was thinking of purchasing. I purchased a Home buyers report. This was undertaken and very impressed with the report. All work required to be done was laid out in excellent detail and illustrated, so very easy for a layman to understand. Above all they created a trust that meant a lot at this time and I would recommend them to anyone.
