About the Business
SegTrek | SegTrek is a fun and exciting segway trail around the grounds of of Chirk Castle on the stunning Welsh Shropshire border. Within easy reach of Chester, Oswestry, Llangollen and Snowdonia. We have a small safty talk followed by a training session. We then head out on the trails... Come join the fun.

We had a really good experience, Tom was very informative, professional and made us feel at ease.The location was brilliant and the Segway so much fun once we got over the wobbles ! Highly recommend, can't wait to go again

Tom was so funny and so helpful. Our pre ride brief was really fun and even the nervous members of our group were sailing along by the end of our Segway adventure! Would highly recommend for all types of groups and give George the dog a cuddle from me! ❤️

4 of us came here just for a bit of fun, great experience Tom the instructor was amazing and made the experience even better made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Have been here before and will be back again. Great route through the forrest

Great afternoon seeing the grounds of the castle. Tom explained how to safely use the Segways and guided our party of four on a 90 minute tour. Tom was enthusiastic and engaging. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic time segwaying adding another terrain to our list. Tom was brilliant, ran through the safety demo’s efficiently. Great trail to follow, nice chat to Tom as well whilst taking in the countryside. Provided all the instructions needed to make sure we could tackle anything on the trail confidently and safely. Definitely recommended to anyone! Thanks Tom!

We did the Segways at Chirk yesterday. Me and my two boys ages 14 and 9 and it was BRILLIANT! Tom is fab and made us feel at ease with the seways in the training session before setting off. The trek is brilliant, I was grinning like a cheshire cat all the way round. The kids were laughing at me as I couldn't keep up with the speed they were going! It all went too fast and we'll definitley be back to do it again. Kids haven't stopped going on about it - win! Thanks Tom!

Review from Rodney the dog - I was a little uncertain when I first saw my humans on their standing bikes. At first they were wobbly and I feared they may break their paws. Tom and his canine companion however, were confident in training the humans to use the lazy walkers. As I saw them disembark on their walkies Tom proved himself as a great leader. I got to look around the castle grounds and explore the land of Chirk. When the group returned from exPAWing the woodland trail they all had waggy tails and happy faces.Thanks for keeping them safe.5 woofs out of 5 from me!

What a great introduction to the Segway. Tom was very considerate of a first-timer and was both professional and approachable. He was ever-watchful during our woodland excursion and his enthusiasm and confidence in my ability soon rubbed off - I was ready for the Segway Grand Prix by the end of our session! Finding out that his grandma is probably a close neighbour of our own good friends was typical of this 'small world'. A lovely morning and a great 'adventure' for this grandma! Would highly recommend Tom - he'll need to plan another 'track' as I could be back for more!
