Pleasant Hill Scotland

We booked Pleasant Hill for my sisters hen party and it was perfect. The hosts are extremely accommodating, lovely and responsive online, and the house is amazing. Cosy, spacious, plenty of beds to sleep in, beautiful garden and a generous supply of towels and kitchenware. Will be recommending to any friends and hopefully will return in future :) thank you!

Perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s hen with her friends and family to be! Plenty room for 16 of us to enjoy fun times together. The house had everything we needed and our host Chris was so helpful on our arrival and departure and welcomed us with the most delicious chocolate brownies. Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pleasant Hill was great accommodation for my brother’s stag do recently. House was immaculate and the garden stunning. Plenty space for everyone to use and the hot tub was great.Chris was great to deal with organising it and was always very responsive to any questions I had.He also left brownies for us that were very well received by all!Thanks again for a great stay Chris!

A spacious private villa with enormous garden and more than enough living space for our 9 guests, not only close to everything in the greater Glasgow area but practically on the doorstep of Mugdock Park and the beginning of the West Highland Way.Chris and Frances were fabulous, welcoming and obliging hosts, with encyclopaedic local knowledge, which they were more than happy to share, from nearby walks and activities to superb recommendations for restaurants and amenities.We had a late change of bedding arrangements which Chris was only too happy to amend after we arrived, even offering to do so while we were out for dinner, to ensure minimal disturbance. Our hosts truly went above and beyond when one of our guests had some unexpected car trouble and within minutes Chris was on the scene with the right equipment to get the problem sorted! Absolutely first class from Pleasant Hill - we will recommend to all friends and family, and will surely be back.

Stayed as a group of 9 for my best friends hen do, Chris could not have been more helpful with any queries that came his way prior to the stay and during. The house was spacious for the 9 of us and there was a bonus of delicious home baking from the hosts. Close to the start of the west highland way and transport links into Glasgow. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend to friends.

We had a great stay in Pleasant Hill. It’s close to the train station and shops so everything you need is only a couple minutes walk away. The hosts Chris and Frances were really friendly and super helpful. They had baked brownies for us to have on arrival and were always available for any queries or help needed. Including offering us lifts back from the local Tesco to avoid carrying shopping bags. They let us adjust the check in and out times to suit us and even took our bags before check in and after check out so we could go explore comfortably which was great as we were a big group of 17. The house itself is well equipped and spacious while still being warm and cozy. The hot tub was a great addition even in the cold weather as it kept us all warm. I would definitely recommend to any groups and would definitely stay again!

A really super house in a top location, a mega weekend to see off our stag!Chris our host is a legend and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and pleasant.Hot tub was ace and house was spacious and very clean and tidy. Even chocolate brownies when we arrived. Super stuff all round, can't recommend highly enough for large groups wishing to explore the Glasgow area!

We had a wonderful weekend at Pleasant Hill. The house was perfect for me and my friends, the jacuzzi was amazing, and people in the area were so lovely. It was very quiet, but with plenty of shops nearby and a train station. I would highly recommend this house to others travelling to Glasgow!

Pleasant Hill is gorgeous house. Located in a cosy town with all you need on it’s doorstep! We stayed for a weekend. 2 minute walk from Milngavie train station and food shops nearby. The house is so well kept and super cosy. We were a party of 17 and it was perfect for us. Big kitchen and dining area! The rooms are super tidy, well laid out and everywhere is nice and warm for such a big house! Hot tub outside was 10/10. The back garden area is perfect for the good weather too! Chris was so kind to us and super helpful, there was a full folder of things to do around the town, Glasgow and Edinburgh. There was fresh brownies made for us on arrival too. Attention to detail was spectacular. I would highly recommend Pleasant Hill and will definitely return !!

Amazing accommodation and ground situated in a beautiful spot of Scotland. I was there for a stag weekend and it was perfect. The hosts were friendly and the chocolate fudge cake they had baked for our arrival was a delicious bonus. The hot tub was lovely to chill in after a long day and the house was very spacious even though there was 20 of us. Highly recommend pleasant hill and a big thank you to Chris and Frances for their hosting
