Perfectly furnished for a family or couple or even a solo trip - comfortable beds, warm, cosy house (barring the gales & power cut! ) and utterly beautiful location. Go prepared as there are no shops in walking distance, although local villages are perfectly stocked. December visit meant many hotels/cafes/pubs/museums were closed.

The first ever time stepping onto Scottish soil didn't disappoint. Badcaul just leaves you feeling that you are in a peace and a location which has the highest serenity and sights!As someone who isn't able to travel much due to personal circumstances, it is nice to be given an opportunity to win a 'Golden Ticket' opportunity to come and visit such a beautiful and breath-taking location!The Langridge Highland Home is no exception, the wonderful simplicity of the property and inside is beautifully attired. A sitting room which makes you feel like you are literally at home, alongside all of the furnishings, the room is comfortable, very well equipped and with fast Wi-Fi. It definitely makes you feel that you are 'literally at home.' The bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen has all that you need for a pleasant and happy stay.At a time when going away is very difficult, this places echos beauty and secureness in that when you come to the Highland Home, you will not be left feeling disappointed. If you wanted somewhere to come and 'put your feet up and enjoy the sights and discover what is behind the curtains of Scotland, look no further- you have found paradise!

Lovely accommodation, wonderfully kitted out and very spacious. Me and a colleague were staying while on a work trip and this was ideal, although I'd definitely stay for leisure also!The hosts were very helpful and communicative. Would definitely come back.

My Holistic GetawayDue to bereavement and ill health, I was being encouraged to have a break. As I was half Scottish I sort the internet to find my ideal respite. And as luck would have it I found that my two passions, water and highlands. Langridge oversees little loch broom. You could be in Norway. The other pastime I brought with me was my painting and I fully intend before leaving to put pictorial memories onto paper.I have discovered a new artist 'Willow Langdale' whom I will follow more closely.During my stay I am also intending to reintroduce myself to swimming by going to the beach. Every morning my dog and I go for a long walk, I have found myself feeling relaxed, at peace and at one with nature.I can only recommend this lovely spot and would describe Little Loch Broom as paradise apart from the midges. The locals I have met are charming, hugely welcoming particularly in the church, the local Post Office at Laide which has fuel using a simple card system. I very much hope to return to Little Loch Broom once again. I came with a member of my family but will return with friends.Come and see the magic for yourself as when I get home I am going to try and create 'Little Scotland' from home along in my front garden.
