We have visited The Grove & The Beach House on several occasions and have waited a little while to visit Coast…we were not disappointed!!!From the second we arrived at the restaurant, we were made very at ease and went on to enjoy every experience. The Staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. Nothing was a bother. Thank you.The food was amazing - a good Summer menu choice - there were a couple of different tastes for me and I enjoyed every mouthful!!!We had a window seat…and it was an absolutely glorious day…what a view.Thank you to everyone who made our lunch time visit a lovely experience we’ll remember.Great car park facilities on site and not as expensive as at Oxwich.

Came on a Friday evening to celebrate my birthday and thought the food and wine was delicious. Setting is wonderful overlooking the sea, - I would say it’s better sitting on the lower half than the upper half with both of you / your party facing the sea. Would recommend as a treat!

Booked dinner with brother & sister in law for the taster menu on a Saturday night and had the following experience:- much longer than expected to be acknowledged by staff, on arrival.- wait to place initial drinks order took far longer than it should.- then things improved.- wine flight was exceptional and our waiter went through all flavours / origins (6 wines for 7 courses).- non-alcoholic options on the menu is by far and away the best we have ever found that wasn't just some diabetic sugary concoction - excellent thought went in to this.- each course was beautifully presented and some of the the flavours that were combined were delicious. Genuinely saddened by 2 of the items in the taster menu (really not liked them previously) but the chef completely turned me around on both.- the waiting staff quickly guaged our level and, within a few courses, were injecting some excellent comedy in to their service.

I didn't know they have just got Michelin 2018. I just decide to have lunch there because it's on my way. But it's big surprise when I saw the Michelin star at door. I think wow.. It's so good. And yes, they have supper awesome dishes. Just only one problem that is my stomach is not big enough to try all their menu. I must back one more time to take more dishes in their menu. I never rate any place or restaurant 5 stars. And this is the first one. Food very good, staff very good, view very good. Really really worth for every penny you spend in this restaurant

Visited for lunch on a Saturday. Great weather so sat outside with brilliant view of coppet hall beach. Service as you would expect from a Michelin guide/aa rosette restaurant. Great choice of wine which was not absurdly priced like some fine dining places we've been to. Selected the 3 course lunch menu and ingredients were local and cooked fantastically well. Couldn't have asked for a nicer meal, just wish we'd been here sooner.

This was some of the best food we have ever eaten out. 8 courses and enjoyed every little mouthful. Not cheap, was just shy of £250 for the two of us, but if you want a treat this is the place to go.

Disappointed. We had the 3 course lunch.Amuse bouche: 1 chip on a bed of stones with some purée on top. Quite tasty. But what follows did not live up to it.Starters: lamb was cooked nicely but accompanying peas and sauce were tart. Not very complimentary taste. Tomato and cheese - nothing special.Main: chicken with some sort of crust. Not very nice. Tasted like crushed spicy rice cracker. Chicken was bland. No flavour. Fish dish was plaice and mussels. Fish was plain with little taste and too much salt.Dessert: dandelion cream was very good with ice cream. Cheese was ok. 2 out if 3 cheese were very tasty. The Welsh Brie was bland. The jam was way too strong taste - over powering.Drinks: 2 glasses of Prosecco- very good but £9 each and 1 bottle of sparkling water.Restaurant was tired inside with wooden floor. Waitress wearing heels meant you always knew when food was coming as you could hear her from the kitchen stomping through :) not sure if I can add the video. (Can’t)the starter dishes were too deep - you could not eat without sticking your arms out like a chicken :(Summary. Overpriced, (£120 for 2) lacking in flavour. Would not recommend or return
