Joined up in January for a beginners course with a mate for something to do, get out of the house, clear the head etc. Never had a huge interest in martial arts / mma to be honest.I've loved my first two months and couldn't recommend it enough for anyone looking to take up a new sport or looking to be more active in their week.Super friendly team, Harry and Shane took our beginner class and they have been superb. Everybody in the gym is sound and welcoming.Top bunch of people and a great gym.

I came in on a Sunday, expecting to have nice, easy rolls. I was sorely disappointed when I got my guard passed for the twelfth time in a five minute round. I was introduced to the mat against my will multiple times, and considered hanging up my Gi for good sometime around the end. Overall, great environment and top quality training partners. Would visit again.

My brother was visiting and was looking for a place to do some BJJ after stopping for a long time due to an injury. We reached out to Talos Grappling, they were extremely helpful and let us join a class as part of a free trial. Everyone at the class was really friendly and very welcoming! The coach was brilliant, really professional, he explained everything really clearly and made the class fun and very interesting!

I joined this gym 8 weeks ago as part of the beginners and was nervous about beginning but from the second you join the coaches, Harry and Conor and the other members make you feel extremely welcome. Great facillities and easy parking as well, and very good hygiene and cleaning.For anyone looking a new sport which is gonna challenge them to no end this is it and the beginners course is a brilliant introduction to the sport. The perfect gym for any new comers to the sport!!!

Absolutely love this place.. Joined as a beginner a few weeks ago and was given a brilliant welcome. I'm 55 years of age had a mini stroke last year and didn't think it was possible to do this, the encouragement and belief I get is amazing at every class I attend. Knowledge, respect, friendship and laughter it's all there.

Words come up short when describing your first time here. You are welcomed like an old friend. Conor and Harry are fantastic instructors. There is a friendly and fun atmosphere but met with experienced tuition. I took part in the beginners intro and the course has provided me with a strong foundation to build from. It's a course everyone should take to boost not only your physical health but mental well being.

Had an excellent time at Talos during their 6 week beginners course. Very welcoming to those with no prior grappling experience or knowledge. Coaches Conor, Kevin and Harry very approachable and put on a number of additional sessions for us. Can't recommend highly enough!
