As foster carers we have always received helpful and professional support from our Supervising Social Worker. The admin., training and finance teams have always provided responsive and first class support.Events, networking and social gatherings [pre-Covid] have been well organised and regularly provided.

We have been carers for this agency for several years. They are extremely experienced and very supportive. We feel we have an extended family, who is thoughtful, considerate, professional and will seek to develop carers to a greater capacity. Through them we have developed a greater understanding of children and families who are experiencing difficulties and need addition support.

My Wife and I have been with GLF since we were accepted as Foster Carers in December 2018. We are an older couple, both retired and wanting to give something back.We saw a programme on Channel 4 which brought home how we might help with the growing number of children and young people who need a loving home.We thought we would be too old but, no.... and it was worth the effort. We wish that we had asked earlier in life but, it's better late than never.
