First time visiting. Food was amazing. Service was great and portion sizes were huge. Will definitely be back again. Hats off to the chef!

We called in for lunch whilst in Calander. We had soup which was delicious. The service was prompt. The only thing which lets this location down is the decoration, which is very bland someone must have gotten a good deal with magnolia paint.Good for lunch but because of the atmosphere wouldn't come for an evening meal.

Peter and I had coffee and cream scones here. It was quite acceptable apart from the strawberry jam which was edible but unpleasant. Whoever had made it had been distracted while adding the setting agent and we were served a translucent, seedless, insipid, gelatinous red goo.Service was good - in fact three waitresses tried to take our order in the first five minutes which says a lot for staff morale and enthusiasm or, more likely, the ladies were hoping to impress Peter who is a finely chiselled Adonis and an infamous babe magnet.Coffee was good and the ambiance was excellent if you’re a pensioner with a hearing aid.3 out of 5 from the Scone Rangers.

It's a very good Restaurant. The Food was delicious and they also have a vegan Dish. I can recommend this place.

Went in with our two dogs, there is a separate section if ypu wnat to take your dogs in. The lady (sorry, forgot to take her name but she has six dogs) who came to get our order was amazing. Friendly, professional service that put a smile on our face and us at ease straight away. We ordered the open steak sandwich and it was delicious. Plenty of steak on soft bread with crusty sides and horseradish sauce, topped with the best red onion chutney. No stinginess in portion size and everything was fresh. Value for money as well. Went into the main restaurant to pay and even though it was really busy I was greeted with a smile. Will definitely go back.

Found a place for a wheelchair at a busy lunchtime on the bank holiday. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food, good sized portions. Fresh onion rings prepared in their kitchen NOT frozen, outstanding. We’re definitely returning, but make reservations for busy lunchtimes.

5 stars for the grilled open-face toastie with grilled halloumi, avocado and bell peppers. I was surprised by the generous portion, and also this was really tasty.The coffee portions are similarly generous - was surprised by how large my coffee cup was. But I think food is their stronger point, coffee not so much.Service is good, but come if you are not in a rush.

Food was really nice good balanced menu selection all setup for covid rules. The staff were helpful and friendly, also offer children's menu, steadily busy short wait this time for table, will visit again

We were staying at Ripple Retreat and were kindly given vouchers by The Old Bank Inn. Their kindness and generosity was truly heartwarming. We went to get takeaway and the owner wanted to make sure we spent every last penny of the voucher, offering for us to come back for coffee the next day because we didn't quite use it all. She couldn't have been more welcoming.We enjoyed the food so much that we both said we can't wait til we're back in Callander to return!

Ordered fish and chips. Quite disappointing. The quality was low and the batter unusual to say the least, mushy peas were garden with added mint. Not something i would have expected with fish and chips.On the upside staff were pleasant. First and last visit I'm afraid.Question. Having read some of the reviews i am now wondering if we were served gluten free?
