Fantastic shop and Owners. We had our Vintage Dansette RG5 repaired there. Its working great. The shop itself is a delight to visit and the staff are extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit. Unusual assortment of goods from modern, electrical to vintage items of interest. Particularly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about vintage record players. Establishments like this deserve to be supported. Also has a cafe. You are very likely to find something that you did not know you needed. I have.

Wow. I hadn't been in Wardhaughs for 20 years- and I couldn't believe my eyes! As well as doing all the things they used to do - lighting etc - they now have a series of rooms filled with all sorts of fascinating things! Old telephones, antiques, furniture, mirrors, jewellery, furnishings (quilts, cushions etc), classic record players....the list goes on and on - honestly it is an Aladdin's cave! Added to this there is also a lovely little coffee/tea shop. Sadly I didn't have time to linger but I will return - can't wait!
