Mr. Deb Pal

Really pleased with the care I received by Dr Pal. He is a first class surgeon who took the time to learn about my life to perform the most suitable surgery.Following my operation (POSTERIOR CERVICAL LAMINECTOMY) I still have 100% movement in my neck and all other symptoms have reduced or disappeared.

Had my neck operated on 7 yrs ago and had no pain since. I had a cage built in, pins and a plastic bone inserted. He's a very welcoming guy who puts you at ease. The best man for job.

After a numbness in my feet for going on for 2 years and numerous trips to the doctors ! I finally got to see Mr Deb Pal I saw him as a private patient owing to the fact that the NHS missed my symptoms ! After meeting him at the Spire hospital he showed me my results from my MRI scan pointing out that I had a tumour pressing against my spine . At this stage we didn't know what the tumour was ? He also Said i needed to have it operated sooner rather than later because it was paralysing me . The week after I was in Nuffield for my spinal surgery Mr Deb Pal explained to me in great detail what he was going to do ! After a several hours in theatre I woke up in the recovery room rather sore ! But I have to say the biggest thank you ever to Mr Deb Pal I am not paralysed and do not walk with a stick ! In theatre Mr Deb Pal said he was going to slice away the tumour in case nerves etc were growing through it ! It turned out he had to chip the tumour away it had crystallised that in it self could have Paralysed me I had a spine monitoring team in theatre with me ! I have made a full recovery ! A bit of muscular stiffness and cramps but other than that I am fully recovered . MR Deb Pal continues to see me every year and I also have a MRI scan . Good news today every thing looks fine and I will now see him in two years just to make sure the tumour doesn't come back ! Once again thank you . I would recommend Mr Deb Pal every time a very clever man X

Mr pal operated on my t-9/10 in January 2017 , I was looking at been in a wheelchair, my spinal cord was crushed, he used a new type of operation , a side lateral invasion, I can't thank him enough, I have some spinal cord damage , but iam 90%, back to normal .
