Fantastic work performed by Pauline and her team. I had lost some weight and had two davourite Leather Jean Jackets and two favourite Leather Blazers adjusted to look better on my new frame. Highly recommend.

This was my first time having a made to measure jacket. Sarah made the process really easy. Answered all my questions and the finished product was amazing. Will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

I had a poor experience with this company in terms of quality and customer service.They shortened my jacket sleeves and repositioned the zips. Unfortunately they left a gap at the top of each zip where it meets the seam - a gap you can see clothes underneath through.I pointed this out on collection and the guy on the shop floor went to speak to the lady who did the work. He came back to say it wasn't their fault I explained why that couldn't be the case and he went to get the lady who did the work. She was really aggressive. At first she said it would have been too difficult not to leave the gap and that it wasn't that bad. I said I was disappointed there was a hole you could see my clothes underneath through - she started arguing with me that it was a gap not a hole (so pointless). I said it was an expensive repair and wasn't quite right (£140) - she said it was insignificant compared to the other work they do there (charming) and got back into another round of hole vs gap. I asked her to stop being rude and after a bit of fluster she calmed down. She said she would have another go at it if I really wanted. In the end I decided just to leave it as I didn't have confidence in her after she'd initially said it was too hard for her to do, and I didn't want her to keep reworking the leather.Basically I wouldn't waste your money with this company - it wasn't a good enough alteration for the money, and they weren't nice to deal with.

Amazing work! Mended a large rip on the arm of a soft leather jacket. I only know its there because i know its there! Awsome.

Spent a lot of time comparing leather jackets from luxury brands, nothing came close to the quality of Cromford. Had my jacket a few months now, no regrets at all in spending a serious ammont of money for an amazing quality jacket. You get what you pay for. Jacket for life.

I had a really good shopping experience at General Leather Company. I was assisted by a female member of staff who was very helpful and friendly. I was free to try on whatever I wanted without the hard sell". I have been on the look out for a decent Sheepskin Coat for ages and have been very disappointed with the products available on the market. I picked up a really nice sheepskin in the sale for a decent price and I am very impressed with the quality and workmanship. My only criticism is that some of the styles on offer are a little outdated and it would be nice to see a few more modern designs."

Cromford Leather Company - I am pleased to write a short review giving an extremely high recommendation to the excellent services I recently encountered. I gave them an expensive Zegna leather jacket to repair, bought overseas, where the leather had dried out and one entire side needed replacing. This was made complicated by two colours, a black outside and red leather interior with pockets. The repair leather matching and the stitching was perfect, a 100% effective repair. The repair cost was reasonable, the staff helpful and responsive and they met the deadline that I requested. Great company, great service and great craftmanship, highly recommend!

I bought a black leather sports jacket from Cromford about 18 months ago. So, this review is long overdue!We were visiting England on holiday for two weeks in October 2017. While visiting a local tailor in London, I asked for a referral to a good leather tailor. The first name he gave me was Cromford. We visited all three referral’s he gave us but, were blown away by Cromford and Pauline. I am 6’ tall with a 37” sleeve length. As a result, it’s almost impossible for me to buy anything off the rack. This is especially so with leather jackets.When I saw the quality of the leather, the workmanship and the names of some of their clientele, it was obvious Cromford Leather was the right choice.So, buying a made to measure leather jacket is not a quick process. We had to head back to the states in 8 days. And, the measuring and fitting process, along with the test fit can’t be done within a day or so. Knowing we were on a short schedule, Pauline and team worked to have a test jacket ready for fitment upon our return to London 7 days later. We immediately headed for Cromford upon our return. They had the test garment ready for me. After making some very slight modifications, she confirmed the jacket would be ready to mail to me a few weeks later. Being a very expensive investment, it was a bit nerve wracking to leave London and wait for weeks to receive a jacket that might not fit.The end of the story is I couldn’t be happier with the jacket! Perfect Fit!!! Extraordinary quality!! Fantastic leather! I get compliments on the jacket from men and women alike every time I wear it!They may be a bit pricey, but you can’t go wrong with Cromford, Pauline and her team! They are worth every penny. I can’t wait to go back for my next jacket(s)!
