R1M Motorbike and Moped Training School

From a complete novice to passing my manual 125 CBT in a single day. Super patient and encouraging, wasn’t very confident and kept stalling at first but got a lot better, especially on the road! Some places just switch you to an auto straight away but kept with the manual and passed! Amazing.

I started with Vince with my A2 license, and today he’s once again got me through my A license both MOD 1 and MOD 2 being first time passes with an almost perfect pass for my MOD 2 with only 1 rider fault! I can’t recommend vince enough his teaching and training goes above and beyond for every student he makes sure you’re 120% ready for your tests and for the road if you’re looking for a training school please don’t hesitate and go with R1M I cannot recommend them enough and if this review page had 10 stars I’d give them an 11!

There is nothing but praise for Vince and Alyson from R1M. Vince does this not for the money but out of love for the hobby, and he really is an amazing teacher. He got me through Mod1 and 2 first time for my A2, and I couldn’t be happier with his teaching. He quickly stamps out any dangerous habits, and makes sure you’re a safe and confident rider by the end of your training.Alyson works just as hard behind the scenes, helping organise lessons around busy schedules and making sure tests are booked for when you’re ready to pass them. Pay as you go lessons are absolutely the way to go, as if you need more time to learn then you can do that without having to redo an entire expensive course, and if you don’t need so many hours you get to save some money. It’s also a must if you have a busy schedule!Many thanks to Vince and Alyson. I’ll be seeing you both again in two years for my A license.

Having just passed my A2 i highly recommend Vince and Alyson. From the initial call Alyson explained the steps and training involved. I was able to pass my mod 1 & 2 first time.There are too many schools about that just try to rush people through tests without ample experience. It is clear from training with Vince that motorcycles are his passion. Vince tailored his lessons to my ability and helped me along every step of the way.They were accommodating to my work requirements and when it got to test day, it was a breeze.Can't wait to be back in a few years for my A license!

I contacted R1M motorcycle training back at the start of the year. They were super accommodating for me to split up my Full A License training around work over the last few months. I thoroughly enjoyed the training with Vince. Due to my limited experience with motorcycles Vince was both trusting and patient aswell as stern when required. I'm really happy I used a local family run company with a personal touch. Vince always made it clear he wasn't just teaching me to pass the test, he was teaching me to ride properly and safe on the road there after. Hence no rider faults on my MOD1 and only 2 rider faults on the MOD2 both first attempts. Would recommend these lovely people to anyone, you will learn how to ride well and have a laugh along the way.Thanks again!

I can not recommend R1M highly enough!!! 10/10!!The patience, understanding and kindness that this family run business has with all their clients is fantastic!!They do everything they can to change things up and explain every step of the way that makes the whole process easy to understand and a joy to take part in. :-)
