The Gog Farm Shop
Lovely place to spend some quality time with family and friends. Several farm shops and a basic cafe in a barn. Staff are lovely and welcoming. As a food outlet, it's certainly pricey, cutting out the middleman seems somehow to have increased rather than reduced prices, but the produce is of very good quality. Parking is somewhat limited.

Great little café and farm shop with awards to prove it! Good Selection of cakes & food including Gluten Free options and nice coffee. Have been visiting for years and always a pleasure.

Saw this place as driving past, well saw the sign that said fresh sausage rolls" and seeing as it was lunch time popped in. Unfortunately all said sausage rolls were sold out. A good indicator. Two types of shopping were on offer. Stay in the car and someone would come out or respect the rules and social distancing and walk around. Always up for seeing what's about I donned my ffp3 pask and went walkabout. A really nice deli was well stocked but I made a bee line for the butchers shop. Meat heaven. Every type of meat. Any cut you want. Well stocked. Well prepped. The gents were polite and happy to chat. Some delicious looking steaks and chateaubriand

Shops are full of good products, not that many are local but what they have is of good quality. The cafe/restaurant closed down an hour early so we went home hungry but with lovely produce

The Gog Farm Shop
A great farm shop selling a wide range of high quality and local produce: meat, veg, bread, deli counter and ‘Cook’ frozen foods (posh cook at home, no prep, ready meals) plus loads more! The Snack Shack offers a good variety of refreshments. There are some strategically placed picnic benches on the edge of the field with beautiful views across the fields. A great find! Highly recommended!

Great for shopping fresh fruit, vegetables and a meat. Deli store with many different high quality products. Definitively worth a visit for fresh and seasoned cheese.Food-wise it's also worth for a relaxing Sunday lunch! ;-)

Went there for a coffee with our toddlers and we absolutely loved the place. The coffees were great but the view was even greater. Will definitely come back to this place

Scone was a bit pricey for my liking and rather doughy. However tea was within a reasonable price range and was very nice - loose leaf in a tea filter thing. Pleasant enough place to sit for a bit after going for a nearby walk but is on the expensive side for shopping, etc. Would come back again for a drink.

Unfortunately, an extremely unethical business. Charges a hefty premium pretending to be a “farm”, “knowing their farmers” and “highest welfare standards” while doesn’t carry out any agricultural activity or own the premises and the business’ lifeline is selling repackaged industrial produce.Majority of pork and eggs in their own products is factory farmed, as is the majority of pork and chicken behind the counter. Majority of beef and lamb is bought from a big wholesaler, reared and to standards unapproved by the RSPCA and arrives in stacks of most profitable cuts – practices that cause waste in the industry and disadvantage good farmers. What’s called “Gog reserve” in socials is just a higher quality selection offered by the wholesaler which doesn’t mean better welfare, sustainability or clues the farm it came from. The little bit of meat that is properly sourced or processed in‐house is merely a sprinkle over the rest, destined where the owner wants to show off or customers who randomly got lucky. Marinades are industrially produced overseas and as such full of additives. Once thriving and famous butchery is now historical, no one who established or ran it remains on board.Sadly, lots of businesses seem to prioritise PR, branding and decorating themselves with trending buzzwords over merit and actually putting in the work, but these guys particularly take advantage of their often affluent and naive customer base.If health, environment or supporting locality are of interest, I’d rather order from one of the good online retailers than trust claims I couldn’t verify.
