About the Business
Muck | Come to the Isle of Muck to get away, relax, and enjoy the wonderful wildlife and scenery. Muck is a small island on the west coast of Scotland, and together with its neighbours, Eigg, Rum and Canna, it forms the Inner Hebrides. The island is about two miles long by one mile wide with a population of approximately 40 people. The Island has a range of accommodation, including a holiday cottages, hotel, and bunkhouse. Lovely homemade food and friendly service from the owners (who,d have thought you'd hear a Brummie accent all the way up there?). The shop sold nice stuff made by the locals and we came away with a cute, knitted cardigan and booties for our unborn.

Every island needs a place like this! The staff were welcoming, the cakes were outstanding, and it's all located within a beautiful stone building within close proximity to the pier! We had a lovely hour sitting outside accompanied by a friendly female chaffinch hoping for crumbs, plus London-born islander, Rosie, who was a mine of information with whom we wished we'd had longer to spend time sharing stories with! We'll be back!

Loved this wee place! Great gluten-free chocolate cake with amazing views. We were welcomed by a really nice and charming man and appreciated his kindness. Will repeat again when I'm back (soon)!!

Great tea and cakes and small meals, very nice also to sit in the garden. Beautiful souveniers and super friendly people. Have a break there when you visit the isle of Muck, close to the harbour.
