Broadside Boat Charter

Booked a trip the previous night and turned up 5 mins before the boat should of left and the boat had left already… no one bothered to ask where I was… I wouldn’t mind but I drove 2hrs to get there.. maybe better communication with the skipper would stop this in the future

Had a fantastic trip yesterday fishing aboard Atlantic blue skippered by Andy truelove we had 7 sharks from about 40 lb to 132 lb .The skipper was very helpful and makes a nice coffee which was offered throughout the day.Would highly recommend this boat and looking forward to my next trip.Once again thank you Andy for a superb day and see you again soonWayne & Matthew

Ren and Penny aggressively seek to satisfy their fishing clients day of fun on the water.While the fish weren't very cooperative the day we went out, Ren did a great job of moving us to numerous fishing holes and trying various tackle and bait to get us fish on the line and in the boat. Ren made sure that our hooks were baited properly and the bait was on the hooks in a timely manner.As a side note, the Lady Gale II is a well prepared fishing craft. I especially appreciated having the seats and lower freeboard so that I could sit and fish rather than having to stand at the rail all day.My thanks to Ren and Penny for their efforts and a wonderful day on the water. If I get to Wales again, I will charter with them again. After 50 years of charter boat fishing on the West Coast of North America and seeing good skippers and not-so-good folks ... this boat is top notch.

Awesome experience. The weather wasn't the best for the sharks with intermittent wind but we all still managed to sharks. A very knowledgeable skipper with whom we will definitely be going out with again.

Went this summer, and last summer, so this is a bit of a late review. Had a great time and caught a good few fish between our group. We'll definitely be coming back next year.

Fabulous day on this well organised fishing trip on a calm and very hot day . Caught a good few decent sized fish and the scenery was breathtaking. Can't wait to do this trip again.

Just spent two days aboard the Atlantic blue charter boat.... Skipper.. Andy truelove very professional ..we had 10 blue sharks the first day to 60/70lbs....second day 6 sharks to 105lbs recomend this skipper and boat ... Great two day trip... Defo go back next year...

I BOOKED A FISHING TRIP WITH THIS COMPANY FOR THE WHOLE DAY, WAS EXPECTING IT TO BE A LITTLE WET SO WENT OUT AND BOUGHT GLOVES AND A WATERPROOF COAT FOR THE TRIP. THE TRIP WAS FOR WEDNESDAY BUT WAS BOOKED ON THE SATURDAY SO PLENTY OF TIME FOR SOME ONE TO LET ME KNOW IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS THE WHOLE THING WAS DONE OVER TEXT SO PHONE NUMBERS AND MESSAGING WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE. IMAGINE MY DISSAPPOINTMENT WHEN I TURNED UP AT THE AGREED RENDEZVOUS IN PLENTY OF TIME TO FIND THE PLACE EMPTY, WITH NO SIGN OF LIFE. HAVING TRAVELLED OVER AN HOUR TO GET TO THE THE VENUE I DECIDED THAT PERHAPS I WAS A LITTLE EARLY, SO WAITED TEN MINUTES BEFORE GIVING ANDY ,THE SKIPPER, A CALL TO FIND OUT WHERE I SHOULD WAIT FOR HIM ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT IT HAD BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER, AT THE WEEKEND.NOT QUITE SURE WHAT THE BIGGEST SHOWER IS ...THE WEATHER OR THE DIS- ORGANISATION THAT CALL THEMSELVES BROADSIDE BOAT CHARTERS.HOLIDAY TIME IS HARD EARNED AND PRECIOUS AND THESE COMPANIES SHOULD RESPECT THIS AFTER ALL IT IS THEIR LIVELIHOOD...

Don't trust this guy, he gave our boat to another party as they we going shark fishing for 3 days but the boat they were supposed to be on had broken down.We only booked 1 day, (5 months in advance mind) and he tried to worm his way out of it saying we were on the broken down boat after I spotted Lady Gail coming into its moorings the day before we were due to go out.Basically he took the more profitable day, rather than refund the shark fishing guys 1 day so we could still go out on the boat we had booked.Totally ruined a weekend for 10 lads.
