Avon View Marina

My family and I had a great narrowboat adventure.We are American so our narrowboat knowledge was limited (non existent) and Mark and his team were so helpful! They collected us from the train station, taught us about the boat, were available by phone for issues and questions and arranged transportation when there was a rail strike. Overall could not recommend them more highly.

We were driving by and needed a break to have some food and 5 minute rest. We were kicked out, and were not allowed to even finish our food. I understand that its a private property, but seriously?

Love the cottage here, such amazing value with hot tub, wood burner and fantastic views.

We hired a boat from here and we couldn't be happier. The owner was really helpful and helped us out in an emergency where he came straight out to us, helped us and then left us to carry on our journey.They let you on the boat and then they travel with you on the boat to the first lock, then they show you how to use the lock then they leave you.The boat was clean, full set of towels on each bed, full set of cutlery, cups, glasses, wine glasses and pint glasses which was useful. We couldn't get a tv signal but that was ok.Really pleased with using this company on our very first boat hire and will definately be using them again in the future.

A highlight of our year was visiting Avon View Marina. Nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly, giving simple straight forward instructions and super helpful. 100% recommended.

Just come back from our 4 night holiday . 7 of us on the 69 foot narrow boat. Great experience nice boat , great staff, very helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone .

Great narrowboat hire company to deal with, excellent information and tuition given and we had an enjoyable 7 day boat hire. Lovely staff and all very helpful and knowledgable and narrowboat gave no problems. Many thanks guys.

Fantastic boat and a very friendly owner. We had 3 nights on the River with some stunning scenery and houses along the river front.Clean boat with everything in fantastic condition.Thoroughly enjoyed our trip.Thankyou.
