Visited here as part of the European Heritage Open Day 2016. The spaces inside are truly amazing. Highly decorative and opulent, there's so much to take in. Not sure if all the rooms are normally open to explore so you might need to ring ahead before visiting. Worth seeing!

One of Belfast's best kept secrets, this is a wonderful building with history going back in time to the beginnings of Belfast as a thriving port. Very much worth a visit to see the paintings and sculptures that are on show.

The harbour commissioner's office is a beautiful building inside and out. The strain glass windows are themselves with looking out for. Check out the US flag window which due to the date of the building (1847) has only 13 stars.

Really interesting trip. No expense spared in the decor by the Harbour Commissioners. Pure opulence. The blue carpet alone is serious quality. A magnificent building with such amazing history. In the reception is the captain’s table and chairs that had been in for repair and were going to meet Titanic on her return to Southampton but she never made it.

This is a wonderful and architecturaly beautiful building well worth visiting if your in Belfast. See the original captains table that was built for the Titanic but finished just days after the the ship left Belfast and was sent to Southampton to be put on the ship after it's return from America.
