There is certainly a reason for over 70 five star reviews! Galloway Cycling gave my husband and I the perfect honeymoon.Warren and Esther are exceptionally nice hosts who made every step a breeze. From start to finish, your trip is organized, bags transferred, and an excellent app recommendation can be used to make navigation stress free.The two places you stay in are unique. Our starting at Nithbank Estate was nothing but luxury. And our next stay in Kirkcudbright was fun, and the town is full of life!I shared some photos of the views we saw along the way. I didn’t want to give away what the castles are like though, that should be something you experience for yourselves.We used e-bikes to get around, but you don’t have to use those. I wasn’t in shape enough to be comfortable, so I didn’t want to risk not seeing everything and went for the e-bike. I’m really happy I did, and I still managed to get plenty of exercise!This was truly a special experience and one I will never forget. If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I would. I had an absolutely lovely cycling holiday with Warren and Esther which far exceeded my expectations. Not only did I get to experience the beauty of the Galloway area, I learned a wealth of new information thanks to Warren. It was so enjoyable chatting with him and learning new things. They made my first time cycling so enjoyable, and what a perfect way to experience a new area! I can't recommend Esther and Warren's Galloway Cycling Holidays enough! Please, please book your next holiday with them, you will absolutely love it!

Fantastic day on The Gralloch gravel route that will be used in the UCI Gravel World Series.Really thankful that Warren was able to come out and guide me round as I probably would've got lost without him.He's full of all kinds of facts and stories that made the ride even better! 100% would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We just returned from a 4 day cycling trip in the Galloway area of Scotland. It was the highlight of our vacation. The trip started with an email inquiry to Esther and Warren and developed into way more than I could have expected. We submitted some info about ourselves and they helped customize 4 days of rides in two cities for us. Every aspect of this experience was high quality - the gravel bikes, the routes provided, the descriptions and tips for eating and the accommodations. We felt incredibly well supported and taken care of. My husband and I were able to see so much of the beautiful country side and are already talking about our return trip. This is a great area for gravel bikes with much of our riding on single lane paved roads through rolling hills. Doing a trip with Warren and Esther guarantees it will be well planned and that you will be well supported. Highly recommend!

This was one of the absolute travel highlights I have every experienced. Warren and Esther worked with us to make sure that our biking experience was exactly what we wanted while making sure to show us a taste of the immense amounts of great terrain in the area in our three days of riding. I would and am recommending this to all levels of riders who wants a beautiful adventure. We cannot wait to return and do more adventuring with Galloway Cycling!

Cycling experts Esther and Warren handled all the details of my tour, making my trip easy to navigate. It was great having my routes pre planned and accessible on my phone. First off the Lockerbie train to the distillery with Warren! Then to Powfoot by the sea to begin cycling, to Dumfries and then to Thornhill and a long loop north. It is beautiful farm country to cycle through in a week, and I was treated with a sighting of ‘belties’, a sheep herd crossing, and different kinds of birds, my favorite were the pheasants and quails. Visited castles, the grave of the inventor of the bicycle, an immersion on Robert Burns by Dumfries Tours, and Esther joined me for a ride out of Dumfries to the 12 Apostles stone circle, to name just a few of the highlights, it was an experience to remember and hope to return to the warm welcome I received from everyone along the way. Esther and Warren, thank you both for a memorable experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic 6 days discovering the delights of the Dumfries & Galloway countryside. Esther & Warren booked our accommodation and curated our routes after some email exchanges. From the hills of South Lanarkshire just over the border with Dumfries & Galloway, to the coastal roads south of Kirkcudbright, we took in the beautiful sights that were on offer and were never disappointed.The accommodation was great - rooms were spotless and we were warmly welcomed everywhere we stayed. Esther arranged to meet us when we arrived just to make sure we had all that we needed. She is a delightful person & enthusiastic cyclist. It was a pleasure to meet her.If you’re looking for a cycling holiday with that personal touch, look no further. Oh, and look out for those “Esther Specials” - a nice 8% kicker in the last 5/10km of the ride really makes sure your legs are still working! Thank you Esther & Warren for all your hard work in making our holiday a very special one.

We had the very best cycling experience with Esther and Warren! Our group of four had high expectations, and we were not disappointed. They both took the time to design the perfect 4 day adventure for us. Two of us wanted to use ebikes, and the other two wanted road bikes. We were perfectly outfitted with all we would need to navigate on our rides. One of the days, Warren took the guys on an epic gravel ride. They also booked the hotel and restaurants for us, and provided tips on where to stop during the rides. In addition they were so helpful with things to do in the area when we were not riding. Cycling South Scotland is fantastic-beautiful roads and scenery. Esther and Warren love their region, cycling, and sharing it with others! This trip was postponed several times due to the Pandemic, and it truly was worth the wait! Highly recommend Galloway Cycling-Esther and Warren will make it a trip of a lifetime for you!

We had a wonderful eight-day cycling trip with Galloway Cycling. Esther was great - she worked with us to suggest a wonderful itinerary at three really lovely hotels with good food and fantastic and friendly staff. We did encounter a little weather but lots of the weather was good! We used a combo of hybrid, gravel, and e-bikes and really loved the gravel bikes, even for riding on rough-ish roads. Esther booked the hotels, and despite a last minute change to add a third member to our party, got us wonderful accommodations at each site, transported our things, suggested routes with highlights and cafes for each day, and was lots of fun to be around. We spent our rainiest day (it was Scotland in late September after all) riding with Warren and extended our trip instead of quitting after lunch even without fully drying out our gear - a fine endorsement of the company, the bikes, and the scenery!

What an amazing experience riding world class gravel with incredible and kind-hearted humans. That’s what you can expect when you ride with Esther and Warren. They’re both absolute gems and will make you feel at home in southern Scotland. They both went above and beyond to make sure I was perfectly fitted to a top-notch gravel bike and curated two days of the most epic gravel riding. Warren knows every inch of the wide open gravel roads that weave through the forests of Galloway. Plus, the conversations/banter makes the whole experience even better.
