Had the most amazing birthday party at this beautiful venue. It’s run by awesome people and the atmosphere is simply sublime. It’s easy to get to from London Bridge & very close to many bus routes and only minutes away from New Cross station. The Jazzbourne is a comfortable venue with great facilities and they also run a wide range of activities… be sure to check them out!

I have been a regular at Jazzbourne for 18 months and I love this place so much. The events are always great fun, the cocktails and wines are fabulous, and the hosts are super friendly and welcoming. Definitely my happy place :)

I went to a beautiful Jazz Club last night for a friends Birthday. What a gem!!! The decor is dark and sumptuous with velvet curtains and vintage furniture. With a DJ and cocktails it has a private club feel. It is also a venue for mid week dance classes. I really wish I had taken photos as the paintings behind the bar are beautiful and it’s hard to convey how great this club looks. This is a business which deserves to be supported. I will be back.

Sharon is the best jazz dance teacher in London! She's approachable and fun as well as ever professional, patient and clear when breaking down the dance steps, styles, variations and choreography. Highly recommended classes! I can't wait to get to the social dance for some Lindy Hop on Thursdays.

The place is honestly as great as all the other reviews have already mentioned. Sharon is a lovely teacher, she keeps the lesson engaging. Great vibes all around, really felt classy and fun, much like Jazz.Will definitely be coming back for more classes!

Such an amazing venue, and amazing people and atmosphere.Nick is an amazing artist, some of his work is on display at Jazzbourne, and Sharon, she's an amazing dance teacher and her classes are out of this world and soo much fun.I have attended other events there including the Life Drawing evenings, and have discovered a new interest and hidden passion.Nick and Sharon are amazing people and very welcoming, and is the reason why I keep coming back. Thank you both for that.

Love this place, great decor, people and atmosphere, felt very at home!Did a brilliant and very comfortable life drawing class' with a beer in one hand brush in the other. (Pencil and Paper all provided!)The class genuinely opened up a latent artistic side of myself which Id not felt since childhood!I also went to live Jazz night with great musicians and wonderful hospitality from the Sharon and Nick who set up, made and run Jazzbourne.Bring on the Dance classes!

Some friends and I recently went to Jazzbourne after it was recommended as a great venue in the New Cross/Deptford area. It really is like no other bar in London, like a classy, south london speakeasy, without being pretentious, it has so many different nights on, life-drawing, swing dance classes, dance socials, burlesque and live music. Sharon and Nick who run the place are so charming and friendly you feel like you’ve been invited into their home to have a drink with them. I love this place so much and every time I’ve been it’s been so much fun, it really is my favourite bar in London.

Lovely intimate bar. Great locals and run by a super friendly couple. I’ve been attending the live drawing recently and it’s refreshing to know that simple, stylish and welcoming places like this, that cater for all sorts, are still out there.
