Gourmandises Academie

I've been wanting to do one of the Gourmandises Academie courses for years, so glad I eventually got around to it! I picked the Parisien classics course, because I love all the patisseries made during the course - and because it covered (amongst other things) the pâte sablée and tarte tatin that I've wanted to learn. The setting is Corinne's beautiful home, a very welcoming space and a very welcoming host. I found all the little snippets of information and history that came up during the course absolutely fascinating - I have a far greater appreciation for the under-rated wonder that is vanilla now! Corinne is an efficient and patient coach who is wonderfully friendly and chatty. The lunch provided was simple but oh so delicious, I'd go again just for that!My family enjoyed very much the pastries I took home. I fully intend to go back and take one (or more) of the other classes offered.

LOVED IT!!!had the most wonderful time today, learned so much about eclair and profiterole, they. are. so. amazingly.delicious. seriously amazing, Corinne is such a lovely and outgoing person, loved to chat and learn with her. everything was spot clean and her kitchen is so pretty. i loved to learn her techniques and delicious recipes, she provided me with an amazing meal and a dessert!would recommend 100% <3

Had a lovely day learning how to make delicious French patisserie. Even though I have been baking for longer than I care to think I learnt some extremely useful tips that will take my baking to the next level. There was an excellent lunch as well.

My husband and I had a fabulous day on Corinne's course. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and it was so much fun learning the tips and tricks. Lunch was amazing too! Hands down the best quiche I've ever eaten. We took home what we made and everything tasted wonderful! My particular favourites were the tarte au citron and the tarte tatin. We'll definitely be back. Can’t say enough about the pastry class I took! Very relaxed atmosphere! Lots of laughter! If you want to do something fun and make a new friend, take one of Corinne’s classes. Corrine goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable!

I had a wonderful day in Corinne’s lovely kitchen. She is a fantastic teacher and I finished the day armed with a lot of information and a box full of delicious and beautiful cakes! Lunch was amazing and that passion fruit tart… I loved it! Thank you Corinne.Ann

Birthday surprise patisserie course with lovely Corine. Learned about new techniques with buttercream, ganache and genoise - Corine is a great communicator, very warm and friendly personality. She is completely at home with her craft and a good teacher. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch in lovely surroundings. A thoroughly enjoyable day all round and we came away with a box of surprisingly professional looking patisserie all down to Corine's expert tuition. Definitely recommend to others.
