Our dog is a rescue with a few serious issues that previous trainers haven't been able to help with. Pat was incredible, he knows his stuff and after a two hour session we can already see a vast improvement in our dog. Pat explained everything and then demonstrated and got us to do it. He made it so simple and has made us feel confident enough to move forward. I would highly recommend him as a behaviourist!

I cannot recommend Pat highly enough. He has helped us with 2 of our dogs. Patient, calm, logical and successful! One of our dogs now goes on a play date weekly with Mills Muts and she LOVES it!

Pat and the team offer a highly professional and caring service for the dogs they work with. They currently run very successful 2 hour ‘play dates’ in enclosed fields for dogs across Essex and Northamptonshire which our 3 doggies love going to. These include collecting them and dropping them home included in the very reasonable price! They’re out of the house for 3-4 hours each session!Pat’s years of knowledge and experience within dog behaviour only adds to the success of the people who work for Mills Mutts and these play groups!These 1:1 dog behavioural sessions are highly sought after as Pat isn’t scared to take on the most challenging dogs from across the country. He really is a dog whisperer! Pat helped us with puppy training our dachshund in 2013. We recently used him for a 4 hour behavioural training session to overcome some more recent issues with the same dog. Pat explains the training in easy to understand steps and puts you in the mindset of how dog psychology works. The session combined a mix of theory and practical training. He also followed up the session with a phone call. We have already seen a noticeable improvement with our dog after just one session. Thank you!

These guys are fantastic! I haven’t even collected my puppy yet and Pat has given me so much advice and guidance already. He’s helped with tips on choosing my puppy and how to settle him in and toilet train him when I bring him home. I’ll definitely be using their play service when my dog is old enough.

Great place, good way to let dogs socialise and play. Always updated with photos every day. Friendly and welcoming, happy to help where they can.

Cannot recommend Pat enough. Such a knowledgeable bloke, really friendly, no messing about just quality dog training and explanations of everything. Absolute miracle worker with dogs too! Third trainer I’ve tried with my rescue dog and the only one that’s actually helped at all!
