An amazing fishery, absolutely spotless and well run by the owner so you can have a stress free visit surrounded by competent anglers and not noddies like on most commercial fisheries

We had a break in the cabin which as always was wonderful. Not only is the cabin well appointed and comfortable it is also nice and cosy. Shane, Debbie and Sophie were all very friendly and helpful.My husband had three very good sessions fishing. Catching some really nice quality fish.

I have been fishing the lakes for 18 months. Star Carr, is an absolute pleasure to visit. The lakes are full of varied species of fish, to suit every angler. Shane, is a very friendly and helpful guy. The facilities are spotless, a credit to the effort and management of the fishery.

Set in beautiful surroundings and plenty of lakes to fish at. Immaculately kept and loads of fish in the ponds. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend and will definitely go again.

This is a great traditional fishery, it is immaculately maintained with solid level pegs and access across the banks making pushing a trolley easy. the fishing is superb and Shane is friendly and always available to provide advice

Visited and fished for the 1st time today after following on Facebook for a while..wow..what a venue..absolutely stunning fishery.the place is immaculate and fishing heaven.spotless toilets..safe car parking. And amazing fishing to top it off. Credit to the owner who cant do enough for you..give it a go and see for yourself.

Clean, well cared for, excellent fish care, real friendly owner. Lots of choice of pags and three lakes offering bream, tench, Ide, crucians and more. Idyllic place with great attention to detail, tree planting and peg care. Site users are courteous and the toilets are spotless. Nets and mats provided on site, bring your own net pole. Natural baits work as well here as pellets.

Only one word for this place outstanding the staff are very helpful showed us some useful information about feeder fishing car park nice and close for this disabled angler and his autism grandson toilets are out of this world so clean we will be back

This is the best run fishery in East Yorkshire. Clean tidy flat hard standing safe pegs. The owners have spend hours and hours making this fishery into what it is today. The fish care is paramount in what the owners rules are hence why you are supplied why a net and un hooking mat on arrival. No fancy Dan rules just standard run of the mill ones. The owner is very polite and helpful and his knowledge of his fishery vast and always up to date. He will put you on the fish every time. The car parking is close to all three lakes. The toilet facilities are very very clean and with easy access for people with disabilities as are some of the pegs near the car park end on all three lakes. Beautifully kept lakes.Was greeted by the owner on our arrival and made made me and my son feel extremely welcome.Was a fantastic days fishing my myself and my son with action from start to finish. Will certainly be coming back here
