These guys are not honest in their deals. Do your checks. Don’t rely on what you see.They sold me a CLS with broken wheel. It was only detected by Mercedes during a check for recall. Of course i complained days after I picked up the car but I didn’t know what it was so I kept looking everywhere. there was no way I could have noticed the crack which was well hidden inside.Just so disappointing and unprofessional. They promised to send money for repairs but I said to myself, is that all you guys can do? Repair a wheel on a 2019 CLS? I was lucky I got a used one on facebook @ £500.They will tell you the car went through some funny checks which are simple scams. If you are lucky you get a good car from them (reason you see some 5 star ratings) but generally I will warn anyone not to trust them.I hope this helps someone.15/11/23I am adding this to my comment in response to your reply. Your salesman never offered for the car to be brought to you. He was always quick to dismiss anything from me by referring to the MOT & checks which I believe missed the damage. He still has my emails. I didn’t know what the problem was and I once took the car to a garage to check this because of the warranty I purchased but nothing was found. I couldn’t understand where the strange noise was coming from. It was only revealed during the Mercedes workshop check.The warranty company would not cover the wheels according to them. Your salesman insinuated from his email that I broke the wheel since the car was fine when I took it. What a garage couldn’t detect, how could I have detected it? I relied on your expertise which failed me.This is why I tell everyone dealing with you to do their checks before they take any car from you because they might be unlucky like me. I replaced the wheel because I had to do something about the car for my safety. I shared the Mercedes report with your team. With all due respect, the context of your reply is not correct.

Avoid like the plague.I was blinded by many of the seemingly good reviews on their page, but in hindsight, their many disappointing reviews are 100% correct.I found our sales person- Andrew to be a seemingly nice chap, but the wider operation- in my opinion- is very much a con.It was near on impossible to get consistent answers from members of their team. Very rarely did they answer their phone and never did they return calls on time as they said they would.In my life of work, I've purchased many vehicles but this is genuinely the worst I have ever purchased and I'm now experiencing a plethora of issues... the handbrake doesn't hold, a hole in the roof, ignition trips off everytime you go over a slight road hump, a steering issue... it amazes me how it passed an MOT" the morning I collected it

I purchased an audi a7, Lovely car, amazing service. When it comes to the after service the service is poor. Had a few issue sin the first week with the car and all calls were ignored. I purchased an auto guard monthly payment subscription with them but it was limited to £2000 claim limit. I had to pay from my pocket for repairs to be done. Very disanointing seems like they only care about the money and call backs are more likely when it comes to purchasing cars and them making money.

My wife wants a Jaguar iPace, and Beck Evans has 2 in stock. She had asked me to speak to them about a particular vehicle we are very keen to buy. I talked to the sales manager, who was disinterested and arrogant. I asked some basic questions about whether the vehicle had its charge cables as it was electric and the service history, which he said he could only answer once the car was sold. I wanted to know, relating to the tyres, the tread depth roughly so we can see if we will be into replacing them as they are £250 a tyre for the car. I was told we don't know you until you've bought it and its been through the workshop where a salesman can't check that. I explained that if they are not far off replacement, I would need to consider that in the price, 3mm is the standard for all dealers, but it is good to know if they are on 3mm or close to it, as you will end up with a hefty bill for tyres within year 1. He said there is no movement on the price, and they are the cheapest of all cars regardless of the condition or tyres.Expecting someone to buy a car and not giving any information on the basics alongside a bad attitude differs from what I expected from Beck Evans. We will not be purchasing the car. I can't recommend them based on my experience. We bought a car the same day from was extremely polite and helpful.Interesting to see another reviewer had the same issue not that long ago.

Bought a van 18 months ago and have spend almost 10k on repairs since. I have my suspicions that the pre-sale inspections are not carried out thoroughly as the box on the back had clearly been replaced at some point and was held on with dodgy sealant. This meant the roof blew off on the motorway nearly causing a terrible accident. Yes, there are good reviews on this page but also some bad ones so I would advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this company to pay for your own RAC inspection. I would also recommend you DONT go for their recommended warranty company either and opt for an RAC warranty.

I today bought a Jaguar I Pace with the help of Rob Sharman who was absolutely superb from start to finish. At the handover today he explained everything to my entire satisfaction - thaknks so much. As for the car wow this is about the 30th car I have owned and the car has exceeded all of my expectations albeit I have only had it a day! Certainly the best of four Jaguars I have owned. Excellent price and service and would recommend anybody use Beck Evans.
