Wendy kindly carried out our celebrant naming ceremony for our new son at Grafton Manor. She was not only professional seeing us at home prior to the ceremony to getting to know us as a family but extremely engaging with our friends and family in attendance. We we're lucky enough to have Wendy to both our Wedding Blessing and Naming Ceremony for our son. On both occasions Wendy took the time to really get to know us and this showed during the ceremonies. We loved how both ceremonies we're so personal to us and involved friends, family and loved ones no longer with us. On Sunday 2nd April 2023 we held a naming ceremony for our special little girl conducted by WendyWendy was warm, approachable and put us ease. Prior to the service she spent time with us getting to know Indies personally which made it more personal and meaningful. Together we discussed our promises to our daughter, readings and music we liked. As well as choosing Indies Guide Parents, who are trustworthy, realiable and would treat Indie like their own. The ceremony couldn’t have gone any better, thank you Wendy!

Would 100% recommend having Wendy as your humanist celebrant. She was very professional yet extremely approachable. She made our ceremony very personal adding lots of special touches like hand fasting ect. She told our story to our friends and family and everyone said how lovely the ceremony was. We originally booked Wendy prior to lockdown and then had to rearrange the wedding a few times and when Wendy couldn’t make the dates she returned the deposit really quickly even though we had already met and discussed the ceremony. When we were forced to cancel and move the wedding a third time we were so pleased Wendy could make the new date. She got to know us and wrote a really personal service which balanced humour and gravitas perfectly. Our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, with one getting in trouble with his wife after saying it was the best wedding he had ever been to! I cannot recommend Wendy highly enough

Wendy facilitated the service for our humanist wedding earlier this year and was excellent! It’s a very nerve-wracking part of the day, yet she made us feel at ease. After a pre-meeting with Wendy, she created a script that beautifully reflected us as individuals and as a couple. Wendy was extremely professional, whilst maintaining a great sense of humour and kind manner. We couldn’t recommend her more!

Wendy did both of my son's naming ceremonies, she took the time to learn about them both, and helped us choose wonderful poems that fitted the ceremony. She is professional but warm and welcoming.
