I can honestly put my hand on my heart and swear this is the absolute best vet I've had the privilege of taking my elderly frail girl to.We go to the Craigleith practice and they have gone above and beyond to ease my heartbreak,give so much support and primarily care for my girl. I am truly of the belief I wouldn't have my girl with me had it not been for the expertise and thoroughness of the vet (Anna Maria)Eleanor and Sarah were my life savers and still are. Not a very positive experience overall. My dog now has permanent scar tissue showing. I understand always a risk of things not going to plan but wasn't expecting outcome. Also cost over £1k which was the expected cost for both cherry eyes, only one was operated on...

I have nothing to compare my experience with, as I have only just got my pet, however the staff were all wonderful. Very helpful and offering tips and advice to help us with our new puppy. They must see hundreds of small animals every day but were enthusiasm to meet my dog and make a fuss of her.

Been going to this vet for 10+ years. Staff have always been friendly but after the original owners retired and it was sold there has been a huge shift in how they approach care.I knew there would be an adjustment so gave them time to adjust but my repeated experiences just aren't as good anymore.It's gotten more expensive and calling for advice is non-existent anymore, they will always book an apt rather than let you talk to a vet if you have a question or are unsure if an apt is necessary.With the old management my dog got an x-ray, which required sedation, and I asked if I could get his teeth cleaned while under. The vet offered this for free because he would be under anyway! That would NEVER happen now.Again the staff is fantastic and the only reason it's three stars instead of two is they've always cared for my pets well, it's the practices of the new company I have problems with.

This practice has gone downhill fast since the original partners sold up.Building work has gone on for months. Having to stand outside in all weathers to text to say we're here is very poor. Goodness knows what goes on inside as owners no longer admitted. Costs have rocketed too. Time to find another vet.

Bachelor Davidson and Watson (Hillhouse, Edinburgh) have always been nothing short of outstanding since the day I registered with them. The reception team, vet nurses and vet practitioners are always welcoming, informative and above all, kind to me and my furry children. They always go above and beyond and make me feel heard, valued and understood. I would never use any other veterinary practice, I cannot praise this wonderful team enough.

What a fantastic place! I accidentally went to the wrong practice today but they managed to find a space for my cat straightaway (we had to wait maybe 15 min). Both the nurse and the doctor were so lovely and caring. They took a full history, asked all relevant questions and were very clear how the visit and exam will look like. After the exam the doctor was so clear and so sweet. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice! I felt like my cat not only was properly cared for but I was also reassured that he will be just fine. Thank you so much for all your help!

Just new to this Vet as I have been really put through the mill with other Vets with my two dogs and really hit hard with bills and poor treatmentMy 10 year old Bichion had to get a serious operation and I was worried about if my Dog would make it and also the cost also.From start to finish I was informed every inch of the very polite the staff good at explaining the ins and outs and also very easy to talk too not smarmy or stuck up or want to Rob you like other Vets in Edinburgh So yes I can’t fault this establishment and will definitely Recommend and would like to say Thanks to Alex and Heather they were excellentKind Regards RB

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were late due to traffic but could still get to our appointment. Dogs were really happy and relaxed.
