My first stay in a Mountain Bothy Association property. Spectacular location and nice easy to follow path.

A great bothy which meets the character and nature of the very best of Scottish bothies. 4 distinct bedrooms and some actual beds are a definite luxury compared to many other bothies. Ongoing maintenance of the septic tank and basic toilet (flush with a bucket of water from the river) make it pretty hygienic around the bothy compared to others in Scotland. Beware the missing step on the stairs though!

Take good and spacious bothy

Super leuke bothy om te overnachten! Wij waren twee weken weg met onze campervan en besloten ook een nachtje in deze bothy te slapen. Het is iets meer dan een uur wandelen, maar geen zware klim. Toen we er aankwamen waren er een vader met twee zoontjes die er ook bleven slapen. Alleen maar gezellig! ‘s Avonds hebben we een vuurtje gemaakt en een scottish pie op de kachel gelegd. Wij sliepen in een kamertje met twee bedjes, maar er was nog veel meer plek!
