Terrible place

If you are considering buying from Bovis, please, please speak to as many bovis home owners as you can before purchasing. If your new home develops any faults be prepared to be dragged into endless arguments between Bovis and their sub-contractors. There are many reviews on here, some giving five stars, I can not urge you enough to go out and speak to customers and let them tell you of their experience. Please don't part with your money until you have, dont take this review as fact, just speak to the customers, they will be happy to tell you of their experience...

Great homes, fantastic customer care

Shocking customer service. Still waiting for snags from the Meet the Builder stage let alone the original snagging list from nearly two years ago. An exterior door that's opens, blocking the path so you have clamber over a wall and then slip, seriously being injured.Insulation missing in the loft, none fitted between the garage and bedroom above, extractor fans missing the no return so cold air constantly blowing into the house, sewer blocked with rubble that floods your shower, large cracks and holse in the render, and much more.Emails go ignored with no resolution.Their awards are a joke.

Vistry took my £1000 deposit having confirmed they were ahead of schedule and completion was estimated as end Sept. Then there was Covid lockdown. After repeated requests they were unable to provide a new completion date and they had ceased building work and closed down construction. I withdrew due to this lack of date, and lack on contract which was promised within 1 month of deposit and which never came, their staff were not available. They have still not refunded my money so I told them I would share this experience with others. Hoping they will refund me still.

I'm a Bovis home owner in Cranbrook, I made the worst mistake of my life in buying a home in Nov 2016. I come under the Exeter office for my 'customer care', it should really be named ' we don't customer care'! In my opinion - don't buy a Bovis home!!!
