Fantastic B&B. The hosts are lovely. Great view from the house. Our breakfast was fantastic. Great place for a base if you're visiting Skye. Nice little sunroom in back for hanging out in the evening.

I arrived all wet and bedraggled from a motorbike ride, Piet and Riet made me feel immediately very welcome and helped me sort out my kit for drying. Their house and garden is immaculate. The room was spotless and it looked like no one had ever stayed in it before, and the breakfast excellent. There is a sitting room for guests with a small selection of local books, tea and coffee and views of their unique garden.Overall, the Carrick is a gem. They go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome. As an example, Piet even moved his car so that it would be a windbreak for my motorbike against the high winds.When I next go to Skye I will stay nowhere else.Thank you Piet and Riet for your superb hospitality, I wish you both good fortune for the future.MervUPDATE:I finally got to return to Carrick and was just as impressed as I was the first time. Riet and Piet are excellent hosts, their house immaculate, the breakfast superb and the Carrick is, by far, the best b&b I’ve ever stayed in.Thank you both for an excellent stay.Merv

Very clean, very well maintained very welcoming and very accommodating. Rooms well equipped and clean. Host is top rate. Located in the south of the island with almost everything accessible from here, paid more for a lot less in portree! If you can get a room here you'll be happy I think. Dont hesitate if you are thinking about a b&b around here.

Pasamos una noche allí y todo genial. La casa es preciosa y con todo lujo de detalles. Tuvimos una zona para poder cenar y relajarseEl desayuno riquísimo, mucha cantidad y en un porche encantador. Muy recomendable y los anfitriones muy simpáticos

A really nice b&b.Pier and his wife are really kind and super open to new people. The b&b was clean, the breakfast really good. The best thing is the conversation with the other guests in the morning because the table is unique for everyone. This allow conversation and make you know new people. We really appreciate.

It's a superb B&B, a very hospitable place to stay, running by a Dutch couble. We had a lovely furnished twin-bed room upstairs. The beds where really comfortable and cosy!Breakfast was good and sufficient. Carpark is infront of the house. They got a big garden with a little stream, with an open window you can hear the water running. :)Due to the acoustic level, there is no shower after 10pm, the water pipeline makes some noice, and other guests might want to sleep already. :)

I loved this B&B. It was my first time staying at a B&B and I was a bit nervous but I really enjoyed my stay. The couple was amazing and very helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. The cleanliness really stood out to me. Breakfast was delicious too! Try the haggis. I would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to Isle or Skye.

Stayed at the Carrick B&B for 2 nights while on a guided tour of the Isle of Skye. The place is spectacularly clean and has all the accommodations one could need. The breakfast was honestly probably the best we had during our entire trip to the UK. There are plenty of options for breakfast to suit anyone. Try the haggis!! Piet and Riet were very kind and made recommendations for dinner (walk to the Claymore, absolutely delicious) and were knowledgeable about the area. We would absolutely return!

It was our second stay with Piet and Riet and it was just perfect.The room was clean and very cosy and the breakfast yummy.Piet and Riet really cared about every guest and always gave good advice and we‘re never to busy for a little chat.We felt very welcomed and looking forward to our next stay!
