Incredible end to a fantastic short break. Highly recommend a Hawk Walk with Lake District Falconry, so knowledgeable and such a gorgeous setting. Cass did not disappoint, a highly intelligent bird who is even more stunning in real life. We will definitely be back again to do another walk!!

After meeting Stephen and Zoe (and a selection of their birds) at our hotel we enquired about a Hawk walk. They went above and beyond to fit us in straight away!We had an amazing time getting to watch Stephen encourage the Harris Hawk to demonstrate his agility and plenty of time getting him to come down to us. They also shared all their knowledge and passion for the birds with us and we could not have asked for a better experience.Would highly recommend booking a Hawk walk with them and we will be sure to repeat the experience when we are next back.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Stephen, Alex and Zoe, and all the birds of course, for all their help in the organisation of this surprise for our wedding guests and for their wonderful performance at the wedding. Ella the Barn Owl was the most perfect ring bearer we could have asked for, and I don’t think I can It was an absolute pleasure to meet Stephen and Alex and hear them talk about the birds and the history of falconry. I can’t praise them enough! Our guests were suitably surprised and amazed by the Golden Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, and Barn owl, but the star of the show was undoubtedly Cass the Harris Hawk who met all the guests and showed off his flying and catching skills. Cass is such an enchanting creature. If you are getting married in the Lake District absolutely consider Lake District Falconry as a fun and exciting addition to your wedding or party, I couldn’t have imagined how spectacular it would be. Even if you’re not getting married, check them out for a Hawk Walk, you will be entertained and fascinated! Great historical location, with lots of fascinating stories. It was wonderful to walk through Boars Wood with Ivan (certainly not the terrible!) the Hawk! Joe was a wonderful host and guide, and thank you Stephen and Zoe for organising. We had an amazing experience and we hope to visit again in the future! Good luck with expanding at this beautiful location and we look forward to meeting your future owls on our next visit! A great experience we highly recommend!

What a privilege to see the relationship of total trust between Stephen and Cas! The hour my husband and I spent walking the hills above Lake Windermere with them created an indelible memory and huge appreciation of what has been achieved between the man and the bird.
