My end to end experience with Gail, for painting a portrait from a photo I'd provided, was fantastic! Gail was incredibly attentive with the illustration and kept an open dialogue throughout the process. This was super key as it ensured I was kept up to date with the progress but also got to see the different stages and make amendments, if required. The painting has now arrived and it looks even better when in hand. I'm very pleased with the attention to detail and level of care that has been put into this beautiful piece of art. I can’t recommend Gail highly enough. My sister and I commissioned her to draw a portrait of our beloved family dog for my mum’s birthday. She produced the most beautiful portrait with such a true likeness of Doug and it has given us all so much joy. Her talent is extraordinary and she was such a pleasure to work with too, updating me (with pictures) on the progress and ensuring the portrait was as accurate as possible. She really genuinely cares about her work and the recipients and we will have no hesitation in commissioning her to do portraits of our children later this year. Thank you Gail!

I met Gail when we both lived in the Middle East and have been able to follow her artistic journey both there and now when she moved back to UK a few years back. I wanted her to paint a memory from my time here in Dubai which I can keep forever. She was able to absolutely mimic the feeling and natural light falling in the right places and now I have my beautiful oil canvas in a very central place in our swedish summer house. Gail has beautifully captured some of the best moments in my life... from early shared holidays, to beautiful British coastlines that mean such alot to my family! She has also caught all of my much loved pets- horses & dogs in my case, looking so natural and happy! They all brighten up my days & bring back many fond memories of my times with them. Gail is multi talented, very adaptable & keeps a lovely ongoing communication throughout so the finished article always feels SO right. My next treat is for my dear sisters big birthday.... an oil painting of her devoted dachshund Wally! Can’t wait!!!! Would highly recommend to anyone! X❤️

I commissioned a painting of my granddaughter as a surprise gift for my daughter. I chose the photograph and asked Gail to do an oil painting. What was returned was absolutely wonderful! Gail kept me in the loop throughout.. several chats about what to keep in, change of composition etc.. but I was never in doubt about her ability to produce a fantastic painting. I wanted something that was masterful, meaning a painting rather than a portrait.. so involved lots of texture of fabrics , light and fabulous skin tones.My daughter and her partner were very emotional when they saw it on Christmas Day. I would recommend Gail as an extremely accomplished artist who can give you an honest and truely personal work that has something of herself in it. We loved the piece she did for us and are sure it will be treasured for many years to come. Thank you so much .

Gail is a very talented artist with a solid base in drawing, the fundamental element of any painting. She's super personable and will listen carefully to your requests and subsequently translate them into high quality portraits. Highly recommended.

Gail did an absolutely wonderful portrait, in oil, of my wife's horse. It turned out better than I ever could have imagined and, even though it wasn't for me, I found communication with Gail to be a real pleasure as she sent me regular updates on progress and asked for my thoughts - it was very exciting to be involved with.
