Just moved my dog to this vets, and today had to take him in as he decided to eat a mince pie, the staff were amazing in dealing with him and I can't thank them enough for staying behind to help him. So happy I've moved him here.

James was amazing with my older dog who has an advanced heart and kidney condition. A thorough review of meds which resulted in a reduction of medication which has put an end to 18 months of nappy wearing. He explained everything very clearly and genuinely cares.I am confident that Matilda will be well cared for by James.

Such a wonderful Vets. I wouldn't hesitate to travel an hour to come again. Very knowledgeable for the Bulldog breed and she had her operation tailored around her individual needs. The best vets I've been to (and I've had a few). The team clearly love animals and always make a fuss of my dog which goes along way to make a vets trip a nice experience. James is friendly and professional, clear with his diagnosis, doesn't talk jargon and gives you all the options with written itemised pricing so you feel he's advising what's best for the animal rather than what will make them the most money. It's so nice to know you will always see the same vet too, especially if you have a pet with ongoing health problems. The facilities are top notch and it's based on a lovely site with a dog friendly farm shop and cafe with a great playground if like me you have kids (handy to kill time if your animal needs to stay for tests) as well as an independent pet shop.

I highly recommend this veterinary practice. James is an excellent vet kind, caring, knowledgeable and patient. He has chosen staff who share his standards of integrity and love of all creatures. The building is so well planned and all the staff are warm and welcoming. Well done James and John.

James and his Team have provided outstanding care and treatment for my 9 year old French bulldog. They have been very patient with me as well as treating and caring my pet, nothing has been too much trouble. They are all amazingly friendly and welcoming and I can highly recommend this practice.

Having a new puppy I registered with my previous vets, it felt like a conveyor belt, no individual care. I looked around for a new independent vets, I saw the positive reviews of GLV. Even though the vets are not local to me 30 min drive away 100% worth the distance. All the staff are caring, they know my dog after taking time getting to know her. She has recently been spayed, excellent care pre and post op, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excellent vets, thank you from myself & Nala.
