Ash rebuilt our balcony this year. It was a very tired and rotting appendage to the house. What we have now is not only a useable balcony but a work of art! A lot of planning went into the design and timber to be used. Ash was incredibly patient while we changed our minds several times, and gave us some great advice. We could not be happier with the finished product.Ash is a perfectionist and gives the impression that he treats each job as if it was on his own home. Just as you would want.I can't fault his workmanship, efficiency and service with a smile.Thank you for our beautiful balcony!

Brilliant service all round. Ashley was very prompt in returning my enquiry and giving me a detailed quote. Workmanship was excellent. Great attention to detail and one of ( if not) the most tidy people to come and do some work for us. Everything was left clear and tidy at the end of each day. The final shelving unit surpassed our expectations, overall we are extremely pleased.

Our experience with Good Wood Carpentry has been nothing but excellent. At the initial meeting, Ashley spent a good amount of time understanding exactly what we wanted and offered good suggestions and ideas on things we hadn't thought about. I felt I was getting a truly bespoke service, work designed for our needs and in the style we wanted. It may sound like a small thing but it has always felt like Ashley really listens to what you want and aims to make it happen rather than you, as the customer, feeling shepherded into going for something that suits the workman.We had cupboards and shelving built in the recesses either side of the fireplace and new internal doors hung throughout the house. I am so pleased with the quality of work that I will always go back to Ashley and Jack, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and Good Wood Carpentry.
