I joined a weekend with Kath guiding as part of a Women's Alpine Adventure Club meet doing both advanced mountaineering and multi-pitch climbing. It was a brilliant weekend - despite the weather being more than a little soggy and windy on the first day, the guides' expertise meant we stayed a bit sheltered and were taken to routes we could still learn on. The instruction was exceptional - calm, patient and clear. Both my skills and my confidence gained in leaps and I can't wait to get out again and put it all into practice. I'd highly recommend!

Thank you Kath!Was supposed to be on a 2 day winter skills course but sadly no snow in snowdonia but we made the best of the situation. The first day went scrambling in Ogwen valley, we’re we did some scrambles I haven wanted to do it a long while which was great and I learnt lots of skills to be Abel to go out scrambling myself. The second day went climbing on Holyhead Mountain! We did a couple of routes and look at other skills to give me more confidence while climbing!

I've been fortunate enough to complete both my Summer Mountain Leader (SML) training and assessment with Kath. More recently, I attended a climbing self-rescue CPD day as part of my Mountain and Climbing Instructor (MCI) consolidation period. An incredible 4 days of AMI workshops looking at making the most of Idwal, Milestone, the Molewyns and Tremadog. As usual they were delivered by Kath in an interesting and interactive manner. Kath tailored the days to meet our individual and group needs. I'd recommend anyone going for their MCI assessment to book onto these workshops, they have added an incredible set of tools to my box. I'll be back next year.

Fantastically organised well run course by Kathryn over the WAAC Eryri Skills weekend. Great learning and teaching. Highly recommend.We went on a guided climb of Grooved Arête on Tryfan also with Keith. Very calm and competent in very wet conditions, we definitely made the most of the day and had a brilliant day. Thank you!

We booked Kath for 2 days winter mountaineering in Scotland. The conditions were fading but Kath found us some excellent routes that were still in condition and the perfect challenge for us. Her knowledge is immense and she is fantastic company in the mountains. We finished the 2 days feeling much closer to our goal of becoming independent winter mountaineers!!

Thanks Kath for a great workshop day. I certainly came away with loads of ideas. I would recommend anyone who's working towards qualifications to book onto future courses. The day was a great opportunity to ask questions and discuss aspects of the MCI syllabus in a friendly atmosphere.
