Unlike the big DIY’s there is always a product available, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. It still has that traditional Iron monger’s feel and is still a family run business. The prices are very competitive, I have actually bought many items that have been cheaper than the likes of B&Q, Hombase etc. Its a local business that should receive local support, Its not easy surviving under this modern climate as a small trader, whatever they are doing, they are getting it right.

Discovered ABW hardware when I moved to Brampton and started renovating an old house. Needless to say I needed a constant and wide range of building supplies and ABWhad virtually everything I needed. For house, kitchen, garden and everywhere between, there is literally no hardware product they do not stock. They are far and away the best private hardware supplies I have ever used and Les and Maureen have a vast knowledge of hardware products. They are very friendly and if asked, give sound advice. I have no hesitation in recommending them ..

Excellent treasure trove stocking pretty much everything you need and a fair bit you don't. The owners and staff seem to know where every single item can be found, and you're welcomed by possible the friendliest dog in town.
