I came across Colin through an internet search of picture framers within East Lothian. I was surprised to find that his workshop was located within an historic golf club house, which after visiting I would say is worth a trip alone. He is clearly a talented fellow; with some of his own beautiful photography displayed within this charming space. His attention to detail, patience and suggestions where next to none, and the painting he framed for me turned out perfect . It was a gift, which was gratefully received by my wife who was delighted with how the framing had turned out. Colin's advice throughout the process was considered, and he was very flexible even after I had asked for a change to the frame several days following our initially discussion. I would definitely use Colin again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Colin - thanks again!

Seemed a little strange going into a golf course to visit a picture framer, but that's simply where the studio is. Colin was flexible and great at offering advice. I wanted some postcards (that were an odd size) framing and also a canvas painted by a family member. Colin presented the various options to me clearly and succinctly, and I love the final product. I had a lucky find with Musselburgh Picture Framers. I was a tad hesitant at first not having used them before, especially as I was having some very expensive art prints that required framing and were pretty large too (156cm x 97 & 74cm x 97cm). Once I got chatting with Colin, he immediately allayed any concerns I had. He is truly a master framer. Meticulous in every aspect of the process and couldn’t have been more helpful. He came up with great suggestions too. His attention to detail is very impressive and suspect that stems from the beautiful art photography he also produces. One very talented chap and a nice person to do business with. Definitely would recommend!
