I went on one of the Mull Monastery Pilgrimages in 2018 which was wonderful. My Goddaughter went this year and my brother and his wife are going next May. Hieromonk Serifim Aldea has a PhD from Oxford. He is very informative, loves to talk about the Celtic Saints and hike with pilgrims to the places around Mull where these Saints lived on small islands and in caves.Having an Orthodox presence on Mull is a return to the beginning of Christianity as it was in the beginning.

Incredibly enlightening, prayerful and personally impactful. The monastic community warm, friendly, generous and truly prayerful people who have wealth of knowledge about ancient Christianity in the UK. A truly wonderful and transformative experience.

For me, the experience of Kilninian was too close to my heart for me to talk about it. Suffice it to say if you are in the area do whatever it takes to go there and ask to speak to Fr. Seraphim. Make sure you also go to the well of St. Ninian. This is possibly the oldest known Christian site on the Celtic Isles.

I've never visited Mull Monastery, but we received our 2 prayer ropes from the Mull today. They are so beautiful, and we're very grateful to have these prayer ropes made by the hands of monks in Scotland! Thank you Fr Seraphim for the beautiful prayer ropes. ~Mark and Rhoda

I discovered the Monastery , a true testament to faith's enduring power. Founded by Fr Seraphim in 2010, this spiritual haven encapsulates a profound journey of revival.Eager to uncover the echoes of centuries, I marveled at the history woven into the stones. Kilninian, once a haven for sixth-century monastics, had faced trials from Viking attacks to abandonment. Yet, through Father Seraphim's unwavering devotion, it found resurrection. The storm's fury in 2013 revealed a community's strength, as they united to rebuild over two years. Witnessing the restoration, I felt a deep connection to their dedication, and to a faith that transcends time.As an Orthodox believer, standing in this sacred space, I shared a common language of devotion with a diverse community. Brothers and sisters from across the globe, bound by faith, stood as a living testament to unity.Father Seraphim's work is truly remarkable; his commitment breathed life into a dormant sanctuary, nurturing its growth despite challenges. This sacred space, now restored to its former glory, serves as a beacon of faith and testament to the transformative power of devotion. To all seekers of history, faith, and revival, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to the Orthodox Monastery of All Celtic Saints. Here, you'll witness the echoes of the past, the present unity, and the promise of a timeless future, all under the benevolent guidance of Father Seraphim.

This newly reopening church (January 2020) is currently undergoing restoration. It is run by Orthodox Christian Monks. A very friendly place to visit. Originally opened in 1755 this church was sadly closed over a decade ago, but is now being reopened by a very caring team who are putting a lot of work into making it a place of worship and pilgrimage.“The Monastery of All Celtic Saints is the first Orthodox Monastery in the Isles of Scotland in over a thousand years.”St. Ninians well or natural spring, in the Monsatery grounds is a lovely place to meditate. The country side is lovely and the nearby “Black Beach” is a great place for a picnic.

I’ve never been there but I watch the videos pretty regularly on YouTube. I’m not Christian, (Satanist technically) but it’s good to see people of genuine faith sharing their hearts with the world. Very helpful videos on fasting, prayer and the personal struggles we are all working to overcome. In their case, with Christ. Master Jesus and all who give their lives to Him are always welcome in my home even if only through the infernal technologies of the day.

Much has been made about the Celtic Christian tradition in Scotland and Ireland. Here is a living, breathing community of Orthodox Christian monastics who are truly living the heritage of the Celtic saints. All are welcome to stay for a few days and talk, pray, hike, and worship with this community.
