Amazing renting experience through Lakin &Co. Yvonne have been amazing from the first viewing and provided us with timely updates and answered all of our questions with patience and professionalism. Great property and the process was easy and went smoothly.Nicola also worked with us and offered great support with finalising our contracts. Would definitely recommend using Lakin &Co and we are looking forward to working with their team in the future.

We (my husband & myself) have recently in July 2016 rented the first property in Ickenham having moved from outside London. Happy with the service provided from day one when I went to see the property.Michelle was the first staff member I interacted even before I knew other agents. She showed me the property promptly. I found her to be very friendly, pleasant, helpful & professional. Michelle is super efficient, viewings were on time, queries answered immediately, etc.The process of setting up the rental agreement etc was done very efficiently.Michelle (and James) were very helpful with arranging our tenancy. Prompt service & returned calls when promised. Any kind of issues faced, they let me & my husband know. They connected us to the handyman and property manager for maintenance who always sort out any issue small or large, going out of the way sometimes.Lakin & Co are excellent. The staff fully understood our required criteria and were able to deliver and meet our needs...Agent fees: Good. Not sure as this is our first property we rented. Also never stayed in London earlier.

All round excellent and very professional experience with the team at Lakin & Co throughout the house search process and eventual move. The team is all very friendly and lifted all the weight off the house move. As one member of the team mentioned 'their business is to match homes to the right owners', this was my experience. Paper work was handled very smoothly and efficiently with regular updates on the process. Following the move, requests have been handled swiftly - including phone requests made from abroad. I regret not dealing with Lakin & Co earlier than I did. Highly recommended company!Thank you all so much - they didn't have more than 5 stars which is what I would have loved to give you.

I would like to say a big thank you to Chris and his team.I found Lakin and CO on a Google search when we were in a difficult position trying to change the maintenance and care of our house to a friendly, professional and family-run agency. We were very lucky to find from the first contact a very professional and caring team, Chris helped us to leave the previous agency, came to the house, and made notice of all the necessary repairs to the house. The contractors under the supervision of Lauren did excellent work. I purchased a flat from another local estate agent with a view to renting to increase my retirement pension. I met with the selling agent and Lakin & Co with a view to the rental market. Lakin knew the local market in Ruislip exceptionally well. They had lined up 15 viewings within the first couple of days. Lauren D was exceptionally helpful and it was probably due to her that I went with Lakin. Chris Lakin was extremely informative and helpful. Nothing was too much bother to explain, very important to a new landlord. They found me a very suitable tenant immediately. I cannot recommend them more highly.

If you're looking for a new home, especially as a first-timer, Lakin & Co might just be your best choice as an agency! I've had the chance to meet Yvonne and Chris, who were both extremely welcoming and made the entire process of renting seem so easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Still waiting for the property maintenance team to call me back. I’m wanting to make a complaint about the tenants they’ve put in the house next to me! I would never use this agency for my properties. It’s been a horrible experience, if this continues we would be looking to move! The tenants are loud, have no respect for their surroundings/other neighbours or the property! I am relieved to see that you have a more measured tone in your message below and not like the aggressive and threatening email I received from you following my initial review.There was really no need for you to threaten me with legal action if I didn't remove my factual review concerning your agency. However, I am surprised to see that you are accusing me of being defamatory and my review as being untrue.Let me clarify for you. As you can see from my initial review above. I am complaining about your staff not returning my calls or responding to emails. I am not questioning the speed your employees pick up the phone or your computer generated acknowledgement to my emails. I think you'd agree these are two very different things and you are mistaken.As already stated, the only communication I have received from you is a threatening and aggressive email, threatening me with legal action if I didn't take down my review. Happy to publish your email if it helps.Furthermore, as I already stated in my email to you, I couldn't care less what you or the owner thinks, you do not have to live next to your tenants and I have taken your advice and reported your tenants to the Police and to the local Council. They have both taken my complaint seriously and agree that we should not be harassed by your tenants or have to put up with any antisocial behaviour. Going forward I have a direct line to report any further disturbances.Please ask your tenants not to trespass onto or cause further criminal damage to my property.As previously stated in my email. Your email was shared with my neighbours who will contact the Police or Council directly if we have any further issues. That is why they have not contacted you or the landlord directly.I trust this clarifies my position and clears up any misunderstanding on your part.Kind regards

Yvonne worked really hard to get us our first rental property in the country. Efficiently handled all concerns and guided us well.
