Arrived at 3.40pm to be told cafe closed and only takeaway service available, despite saying on line open until 5pm and no signs to say closed. On saying wished to sit down to drink, advised to look elsewhere for seating. Seating opposite cafe closed off as well as seating in cafe up the steps. Not impressed.

A real treat to get a genuine welcome and conversation whilst ordering what turned out to be a great coffee. Very impressed, will be back for sure.

Quite disappointed tbh. Ordered a normal croissant and a chocolate croissant. Both where stale the chocolate one tasted off like a fishy taste. Went to take it back and the Chinese lady was getting me another one, I said I prefer a refund and she literally threw the change at me, not even an apology. Drinks where lovely. What a shame. Not sure how long those croissants had been sat there.
