For 3 years I have been unable to get a telephone conversation with their newsdesk, it's as if they do not speak for the people any longerAaron Hendy is supposed to be in charge yet all of their phone numbers CIT off when you call themDisgusting attitude to speaking for the people when the people can not get in touchFunny how a member of the paid advertising team answers the call immediately though isn't it ?Utterly atrocious service and 0 point for communication and availability

It is worth ZERO stars! This is truly bad news reporting jugmental paper. I cannot believe what I read from them lately. The paper does not represent any values of Brighton residents instead spreads hate againts minorities or people living alternative lifestyles, promotes hate and endenger people's safety by spreading opinionated jugmental articles that are far from any truth! Brighton should be toleranant, accepting, non-jugmental, open minded, happy, welcoming place and you portraying it otherwise. As a long term resident of this city I feel sick reading the absolute utter rubbish you post. Shame on you! This is not how media reporting should work. I wouldn't be surprised if people start suing you for hate speech and putting people safety at risk!! I surely would suggest that they do!

This paper is appalling, as Is the website. Misleading articles , to many ads, and yesterday a smear campaign on a local residents who helps the homeless . It’s an utter disgrace. Do not waste you’re money on buying this rag.

Without doubt this is the worst 'Newspaper' I have ever read. Always out of date, inaccurate and extremely poorly written, it reads like it is not edited. Filled with advertorials, masquerading as 'News' from friends of the editor (haha) and excrementally bad female 'columnists'..allegedly also friends.. The website is a clickbait, ad filled, personal detail harvesting nightmare! The reporters are all trainees doing a journalism course and by goodness doesn't it show. The comments section online is filled with multiple account loons.. cyclists lefty unemployable waiters...

This is the worst local rag (I refuse to call it a newspaper) I have ever read! Instead of supporting local businesses, it does hatchet-job reviews" on small businesses (coincidentally not the ones that spend money on advertising). Also it feels the need to put its own spin on everything rather than doing the professional thing of simply reporting the facts and allowing the reader to make up their own mind. The sooner it has a competitor

Very poor writing, very little journalistic input other than copy and paste from other sources, and adverts posing as articles. Headlines often make no sense and the general use of English is poor, with many spelling and grammatical errors. It's about as poor as you can go and I suspect it only survives because there is no local effective rival.

Personable, friendly reporters. Harry Bullmore was a really good member of the reporting team. Harry was super helpful and supportive of local businesses in the community. He helped to kick open the doors of our local escape room business, Escape the Vault in 2019, reporting on the shoot of our promotional video. Thank you to the Argus and their professional reporting team.

What an atrociously poorly edited rag. It deteriorates with every issue. The only reviews on here that are not 1 Star are by the Editor, Arron Hendy and his lackeys. The kids writing the paper on Training schemes are from everywhere but Brighton and in some cases, not even England. Features such as the risible 'look-a-like' feature or the 'From the Archives' are embarrassingly excremental. This coupled with the 'Columnists!' are a succession of increasingly desperate, whining harridans who are invariably female, hysterical and 'friends' of the editor. There is no option to leave Zero Stars. So ONE it is...

People who compare this to The Sun are ignorant. This is a local paper that is not designed for people who think the sun shines out of their anus. Quick and Easy to read, unless you feel the need you want to try and decipher the paper. good for local updates and local sport. although a proof read would be a good shout.
