3 times I've booked my car in and each time they have told me that they can't do it because of staff shortage or tester not available. Asked them to check the humming in my front wheels and they said it was because of my rear tyre.... Took it to the Clacton branch and found it was the bearings that needed changing. The manager, Shaun is rude and condescending.

I booked an appointment for 11.30am to change one tyre and check a light. Asked at the time of booking if I could have it done while I waited and was told no problem. I arrived on time. I was told by a gruff man who came into the reception with what looked to be a XL Bully dog that it would be about half an hour. I was kept waiting for an hour and a half only to be told when I questioned how much longer it would be, 'oh....the tyre fitter just went on his lunch break, can you come back tomorrow?'. Needless to say that I left, and no...I won't be back tomorrow. They just lost my custom, as I will never use them again.

Could not do the MOT as F1 auto cancelled my schedule a week before the appointment. I was offered another date but I did not have enough time left for MOT. So I requested refund and got it. Overall not happy about the cancellation.

Took my car in earlier this year, as HiQ had screwed me over with my car and not repaired. Yet these guys are just as worse, yet I take my car in for MOT and Service repair.It states I still have a thermostat coolant leak, which these guys and HiQ both charged me for. Just don't trust these companies, they're just money grabbers.

Very disappointed in the customer service, I was twenty minutes late for my MOT. It has to be there for a 8:30, and they wanted it all day, (all day appointment, surely a Mot takes 45 mins to an hour ish?) They phoned me as I was 2 minutes away and cancelled the MOT saying, there would now not be enough time to do it. How does that work when they want it all day??? Surely it should be a slot time if it has to be there for an exact time, not all day. I guess they ask for it all day so they can organise the vehicles on the day, which would be fair enough. But don’t cancel it after 20 minutes.I would love for you to reply on here to explain the process so I and anyone else fully understands.

Brought my first car for its first MOT & service since owning it. £800+ later a new, loud noise was coming from under the bonnet. I had to use annual leave 3 times to bring my car back time and time again, given different answers to what the problem could be. Conveniently one of the men dealing with my car has a “bad ear” so couldn’t hear the noise. Was eventually told that there’s probably a tear in the Manifold, why didn’t this appear on my failed MOT then? Which I was told is £400-£600 to fix.My car has continuously had this same noise which has now led to my engine to suddenly stop working.I wasn’t taken seriously even after all the money I’ve unfortunately spent here.

Sadly cannot accommodate parents who cannot drop off car until after 9am and need the car returned before nursery collection (4:30pm). I was told I needed to drop off earlier if I wanted to collect earlier, this was not communicated upon booking despite explaining i needed the car back by 4:30pm. I have now happily re booked with another garage who were more than happy to accommodate this.

I booked an appointment a week prior to the date. My MOT appointment was cancelled the afternoon before. Luke proceed then to tell me off for not booking sooner, but no alternative offered. Incredibly poor customer service. I have never actually managed to have my car seen at this garage, this has been my second failed visit. There will never be a third.
