James is a top guy and got some great lads working for him. I can't praise him and his team highly enough, excellent from start to finish.The team are all friendly + trustworthy, and made a real effort to keep the place tidy throughout. They even stayed late some evenings and worked Saturdays to make sure the job was finished on time.James has a great eye for detail, makes good recommendations, and it's clear it's really important to him that you have a top quality product when the work is complete, and we're delighted with everything they've done. I'll definitely be giving them a call when we're ready for our next project

James is a very proactive and communicative project manager, who pays close attention to the small but important details of the project he's working on. This applies at every stage of the build right from even before the work starts - protecting the driveway of the house with plastic sheeting and chipboard, and the woodblock hallway floor with rigid plastic - to power washing the paths and driveway afterwards, and sending cleaners to clean the whole house - not just the part his company have been working on. James and his staff do all they can to minimise the disruption and dirt inside the house, and James himself is happy to give advice as well as practical help and to share useful contacts throughout. He leads a team of very trustworthy, hard working and skilled professionals, and I would not hesitate to recommend the organisation to anyone considering doing work on their property.

James is a knowledgeable, conscientious and courteous tradesman. He and his team finish work to the highest standard and are utterly reliable. He is definitely my first port of call for any building work that needs doing or if I need help and advice.

Quality service from start to finish from James and his team. We had a kitchen/garage extension completed on our house a few months back. This isn't an easy task at the best of times, let alone with everything that's going on at the moment.The team left the job as clean and tidy as possible every evening helping to alleviate some of the stress of living in a building site. I even asked if they would keep the noise down around certain times due to the next door neighbours kids and they were very respectful towards this request.Absolutely love the new extension and could not recommend their services highly enough. Great workers and completed a major building project for us in a Victorian House in Gosforth, Newcastle.Neat, tidy and delivered the job on time. James and his team are a great group of lads that finish to high standard.Would recommend - 5 Stars!!

One of three firms recommended to us by our architect were JW Dickinson and we are pleased we chose them.We cannot praise JW Dickinson enough for the kitchen/diner extension and utility room they built onto our bungalow. The team always arrived on time, were friendly, polite, courteous, and extremely tidy, completing the work to the highest of standards that was greater than our expectations.As the work progressed James suggested alternatives to what we had planned and we immediately agreed to these changes. We were delighted we did, as the project looks fabulous and his knowledge of construction is second to none.We were always updated on progress, which made life easier for ourselves. Every evening the site was cleaned up and the team went extra miles to ensure they completed to the deadline. This is a fantastic building company who I would recommend to everyone.

Totally delighted with our new kitchen/extension carried out by JWD! James is courteous and a great communicator & project manager. He always allowed plenty of time for us to ask questions which is crucial from a customer perspective. He focussed on finding helpful solutions as the building work progressed and always provided updates throughout the project. His team are friendly and totally trustworthy. Highly recommended.
