Phil and Tom installed extra storage cupboards and shelves into our eaves and did an excellent job. Cleaned up at the end of each day, so asked them to install new bannister/handrail/skirting boards and flooring. Again arrived on time and provided good quality workmanship. Can't recommend them enough, would not hesitate to contact again.

Absolutely excellent service, such a pleasure these guys came on time everyday, cleaned up after themselves made the all experience a pleasure would highly recommend. The extension was a 4 m by 3 m with a vaulted ceiling. We have used ChIltern joinery services twice now and cannot fault the service or workmanship

Phil has completed a range of different jobs for us since 2013. Initially we commissioned him to complete a tricky staircase renovation job-his attention to detail and speed were notable. From that point on Phil has completed a loft conversion and most recently an entire house remodel for us. Phil treats every job as if it was his own home and gives valuable suggestions when required. He is an excellent communicator and his son Tom who works with him has become a capable craftsman in his own right. Phil and his team become part of the family when on site and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

We were having problems trying to get quotes for some building work. Several builders turned up and then never provided quotes which is frustrating. Chiltern Joinery Service was recommended to us and Phil turned up on time and provided a detailed quote within a couple of weeks. Phil kept us informed about when he could start as he had lots of work already in the pipeline. When Phil started work we were informed about what was going to happen each day and who was turning up the following day and at what time. Most other builders just turn up when they want and don’t keep you informed so this was great to have a builder who communicates with the customer.Phil had lots of good advice and incorporated extra work without any issues. The work was done to a good standard and a reasonable price.The work was to refurbish 4 cold rooms in a 1920 house and make them more energy efficient by adding lots of insulation etc. We can certainly feel the difference now and a friend with a thermal imaging camera proved that the rooms are much warmer than the other rooms in the house. After that Phil and his team installed fitted bedroom and office furniture.Phil will be visiting in the near future to fix a minor problem with the roof, and we’ll be happy to use Phil’s services in the future for another bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.

We would 100% recommend Phil and his team. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional, friendly and dedicated team. The workmanship and attention to detail was spot on. They were punctual and reliable, throughout the 8 month build they didn’t miss a day, working through some horrendous weather conditions, always with a smile! Not only was the workmanship of an excellent quality but they kept the site so tidy and organised which was brilliant. No request was too much and Phil and his team were always more than happy to help. We will certainly be using them for any building work in the future and would like to thank them again for making the build process so enjoyable and creating a fabulous new home for us!

Great service, great guy! Chitlern did a fantastic attic conversion in 2012 on a house that I bought in 2014. I had a slight problem with the shower in 2106 so called Phil and asked to him to come and have a look. He came straight round and fixed the problem, resealed the shower, left no mess and then would not take any payment despite having been here for almost 2 hours. Repairing a job that he did 4 years ago, with no charge, for a new customer, goes to show the sort of service you can expect. Thanks Phil.
