Abbey Rider Training

If you are looking at getting your CBT or Full Licence, this is definitely your one stop shop.Nice easy going instructors, a good relaxed approach.I'm glad the pressure is removed as they don't do an intensive course. In my opinion this was the best way to learn.

Did my training with Abbey Rider Training, from CBT to Category A Mod1 and Mod2. Kurt and Jess are second to none, the knowledge they both have is amazing. They planned each lesson and pass on the skills and knowledge I needed to pass 1st time.If you are looking to start your journey on two wheels I can’t recommend them enough.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have just passed my DAS course,for which Kurt and Jess prepared me for. I have to say they have been amazing from the very first moment. They've both been extremely helpful and patient throughout.I did the inital training and the CBT test with Jess, which was really relaxed in a way where I didn't feel anxious. Her bubbly personality helps you enjoy the learning process, rather than feeling nervous about the things that you might do wrong.After this, Kurt prepared me for my Mod 1 and 2 tests with increadible knowledge, patience and attitude. He is definitley the best instructor I have ever had. For him, it's not just about ensuring that you pass your tests and off you go, he actually goes beyond and above and provides practical advice as well. As a first time motorbike rider, I have actually passed my Mod 2 test with flying colours which was with zero faults. This is all thanks to Kurt and his approach to teaching. I am very grateful.

I had the pleasure of doing my CBT and Category A bike test with Abbey Rider Training. Kurt and Jess are amazing, super friendly and very encouraging. The course is well planned and tailored to your needs. I have had the best time in each and every lesson. Thanks to them I passed first time. Huge huge thank you guys. Absolutely incredible! Kurt and Jess were amazing, genuine and the best teachers I’ve had. If you are worried there is no need to be they make you feel so at ease. I just passed my full license with no minors on my mod 2. They are really friendly, helpful and supportive. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Me and my partner just rocked up one day to figure out how we went about booking it all and within a couple months we have both now passed.

I would 100% recommend Abbey Rider Training. I have completed my CBT, A2 and now my full license with them. It has been nothing short of amazing. They have given me so much confidence in my bike handling skills. Jess and Kurt are both so easy to get on with, and really reassuring throughout.

The team at Abbey Training believed in me more than I believed in myself. As a 63 year old first time rider it was a surprisingly quick 6 month journey from CBT in the playground to successful Mod 2 last week.Their patience and guidance is second to none. A great learning experience. I cannot recommend then highly enough. Jess and Kurt have some lines that really stuck. My two favourites: Jess 'They are called roundabouts not straightabouts!!' and Kurt 'There is no law against acceleration!'Great fun. Great training. And now I have the freedom of the road. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and especially newbies like me. Thanks Abbey Training.

Passed my Mod2 today on A license ! Hurrah !! My journey and experience with Abbey Rider: Did my CBT with Jess ( Excellent instructor, calm and makes you at ease, very professional )Failed my Mod1 after an excellent lesson with Kurt ( Lesson was separate with visit to test centre and doing at DVSA centre over weekend )He is very patient and explain things in simple terms. Another attempt on Mod1 and I had a long lesson( including practice at test centre)and specially before your test there is a warm up lesson. Enjoyed that , which made me confident and I passedMod1 without any minors. Then came Mod2, excellent professionalism from Kurt and as expected went through test routes, clear instructions and as usual very calm. Failed Mod2 ( One major my mistake). Rebooked and Jess helped with dates as per my and test availability. Finally today another warm up session and passed without any minors. Based on my ride also got good info for my first bike. Overall my experience with Abbey Rider has been excellent. Five stars to the team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great training offered by Abbey rider training. All requirements clearly shared before each lesson and took me to a first time pass, not just teaching you to ride to test standard but making sure you pass as a safe and confident rider.Thanks to Jess for all the early sessions getting CBT ready, and to Kurt for taking over on the bigger bike.Can’t recommend Abbey rider training enough.

Abbey Rider delivers exceptional confidence inspiring tutoring in a tailored manner that works for you! Back in 2018 I took my A2 licence with them and passed my MOD 1 and 2 with NO MINORS!And today I passed my full A licence with yet another faultless MOD 1 and 2.That’s all 4 tests with not one fault, and I owe it all to Abbey Rider.The teachers Kurt and Jess are really friendly people, it was really easy to book my lessons and they have lots of great knowledge to keep you rubber side down.If you’re unsure about where to start your two wheel journey or pick up where you left off years ago Abbey Rider is the training school you need.Kurt has been teaching for many years and it shows.They use detailed annotated diagrams of various local road intersections to guide you before you turn the key, and then follow up on this on the real road.I don’t live in Swindon, I traveled quite a distance for them and I’d do it again and again… not that I need to now.100/10 recommend Abbey RiderThank you Kurt and Jess!
