Church of St. Talorgan

Really interesting site with long & complex history, unusual buildings, some beautiful grave memorials and a lovely location within the historic village of Fordyce. In terms of accessibility, it is relatively even ground in the graveyard. Off street parking is possible at the nearby village hall.

A great spot with an effigy that dates back to the early 1500s. Some really lovely old gravestones and the site is obviously cared for as it is very well kept. The remaining structure houses a heritage room which contains more information about the site. Fordyce is a gorgeous wee village and there is a castle here too

Set amidst a sea of superb funerary monuments, this old kirk houses a mini museum which tells the story of the kirk. The ruins of the kirk are now somewhat disjointed but do enter every part as each contains a surprise!
