The place is impressive and those walls and ceilings are a work of art. In the cafe, coffee and their cakes are delicious and definitely worth trying the Victoria Sponge Cake. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable, they are very open to helping or answering any questions you’d have.

Was disappointed with this house, there was a lack of information around the house and the quality of it is not what I have come to expect from national trusts. The site is small with an additional charge to look around the gardens. It is worth popping in to see the impressive ceilings and carvings but it is not something you could make a day trip out of.

Some interesting exhibits and a house that has been occupied since 14C until relatively recent past. Long time home of the Verney family (with link to Florence Nightingale) and very historic church. It is not quite as 'polished' as some National Trust properties but Chinese Room is definitely worth viewing.

Visited today,beautiful house and grounds.Lovely courtyard shops and cafe with good choice of food and drinks.Everywhere very clean and tidy,staff all helpful and friendly.

Beautiful house, lovely and tranquil gardens and the South lawn. Love to come back here. The shops with antique furniture and stuff are also great. Big free parking is also a plus

This National Trust site is a good find! Claydon manor with a good tour inside. Going inside is free with national trust pass or paid if not. But gardens which is very much worth visiting is additional and not part of the trust. Can spend a lot of time in lush finely looked after gardens. A good getaway in Buckinghamshire. Interesting to learn about the Claydon manor. Recommend visiting.
