My experience of having a dress and jacket designed and made by Elaine was wonderful. She took the greatest care to give me exactly what I had asked for, and it brought tears to my eyes to see the exact image I had in my mind transferred to a working sketch of my 'Mother of the Bridegroom' unique outfit!Sourcing fabrics (and sending me samples at all stages) to match the piece of Chinese silk I already had was just part of the outstanding service she provides, spending a lot of time with me on every visit to make sure the colours and texture were just what I wanted, looking right together in every light. Nothing was too much trouble and she remained warm and very accommodating throughout the process, adjusting the design as it went along to give me what I had in mind and keeping me posted with photos by email in between appointments. Every visit and fitting was a pleasure and I felt in very safe and professional hands.Needless to say the finished result was much admired and was so easy and comfortable to wear, fitting absolutely perfectly and hiding all my imperfections. I am over the moon with my bespoke Mother-of-the-Bride dress and jacket outfit which Elaine designed and made for me. The whole experience from start to finish was a delight due to Elaine's professionalism and warmth; I sensed from the start that I was in safe hands. Elaine is a woman of many talents, not least her flair for coming up with design ideas and beautiful fabric options which suited my personality and colouring. Her meticulous fitting skills and attention to detail resulted in a uniquely flattering outfit that made me feel a million dollars for my daughter's special day. When I got married Elaine made me an amazing dress. She instinctively knew what would suit me, given my full figure and love of the colour red. She used her considerable talent, expertise, flair, integrity, generosity and humour along the way, and made sure that I was nothing but totally happy with the result. The dress was and is the most beautiful thing I've ever worn and she made me feel like a million dollars. I can’t recommend Elaine highly enough, after searching lots of boutiques & trying on lots of dresses & suits, I decided the traditional “mother of the bride” outfits were not for me. Elaine made the dress for my wedding in December. This was a second wedding and, aged 50+ I wasn't looking for a traditional wedding gown. Elaine's skill and creative design gave me the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. The cut and drape was so clever that she made me look and feel like a Goddess - even when I tried on the calico version. She also designed a velvet coat (December!) that was just perfect for the occasion. She was patient, full of ideas and her tailoring skills felt like being in a Dior salon. I cannot rate her highly enough. My mother, friends and husband were all blown away when I arrived at the Church, couldn't ask for more than that.
