DB UPVC Windows and Locks

We recently had a decision to make, do we replace our double glazing at enormous cost or try to find somebody who might be able to renovate them. luckily for us we went for the latter we found Dave at db upvc and locks who agreed to come and have a look. the windows having been the best part of thirty years were in a pretty sorry state. hinges broken so the windows wouldn’t shut properly, blown seals gear boxes inside the frames not working.Dave quickly told the problems we agreed a price and the outcome was two weeks later in just a day everything is back to how things were when we had the windows installed.Dave did a fantastic job he even replaced every handle. It’s great no more draughty rooms saved us a fortune. Dave is a thoroughly professional guy and nice guy to boot. I would use him again and I would recommend him to family and friends.thanks again Dave.

Very good service. Dave managed to replace the worn out wheels on our 20+ year old patio doors which had become increasingly difficult to open. Would definitely recommend and use again in future.

We had a UPVC door with broken locking mechanism, such that the door would not open. I was convinced that the only way to gain access to the mechanism would require damaging the door. After contacting DB to describe problem, Dave was quick to come out, he the job look easy - no damage!Dave was very transparent about possible costs before starting work, ensuring we were happy and there were no nasty surprises for us. We had a stuck downstairs WC window, where it was apparent that the lock had become jammed on one side.A phone call to Dave and I was booked in for a weeks time to help. Happy with that, as it wasn't an urgently used emergency exit. The appointment and cost was confirmed over text.Dave turned up on time and resolved within 30 mins with a brand new lock. The window now locks and unlocks smoother than it ever did.Dave was courteous and made sure that no damage or mess was left.I would recommend him and his services.

After months of wrestling to open and close my back door I was convinced it needed replacing. I asked Dave to see if it could be fixed and within half an hour it was opening and closing like brand new. He's a gem and I've since christened him the lock whisperer! Very professional on timing and quality. Only 4 stars as I thought price at £220 was high for realigning two french doors and braking and replacing a lock on another door. Dave did all the repairs in about a hour. Yes would recommend.
