We had a load baring wall down as well as another room divided into 2 upstairs. The quote we were given was very competitive, the builders that came into our house everyday were respectful of our house, always cleaned up after they finished for the day.Paul organised plumbers, electricians, plasterers, everything we needed for the job. Easy to contact and easy to deal with. We ended up needed to sort our kitchen floor and plaster a few ceilings aswell, nothing was too much trouble, everything got sorted and we weren't left with any issues. Would highly recommend this company. We have never really dealt with builders or tradesmen so this was an excellent first experience

Adam is amazing he done everything that we asked he went the extra mile for us .He did a fantastic job we definitely be having work done again from this company infact we have already asked for more work to be done .The painter done a fantastic job as well.

Paul and his team rebuilt our front porch and installed a new front door and fuse box. The work was carried out on time, on budget and to a really high standard. Any problems were dealt with swiftly and we were always given impartial and honest advice about our options throughout the build. T.A. Smith delivered a professional service and we won't hesitate to use them again in the future.

We recently had a 2 story extension built by TASMITH builders. Not only did they initially provide a very competitive quote but the work from start to finish has been 5 star. All of the team are friendly & professional & Paul is always on hand to answer questions. We were so happy with the build & service we also asked TASMITH to supply & fit our new flooring, carpets & bathrooms plus complete all tiling & painting & decorating. Everything has been done to a great standard, in a reasonable time frame & for a fair price.Paul came recommended by a friend after completing a smaller building job but I am now more than happy to recommend TASMITH for any job, big or small!

Paul and his team completed a single storey rear extension and some other work for us. It was the first major building project we had undertaken and we were nervous from hearing horror stories of projects taking twice as long as estimated, builders disappearing mid job etc. I’m pleased to say there was none of those concerns with Paul:- they completed the work in 16.5 weeks, having estimated it would take 12-16 (but there was some extra work done compared to the original plan)- they were fair on pricing, advising us of a sensible contingency budget to keep for things that may go wrong (which couldn’t be known until the project started) and being fair when additional work was needed- they reliably turned up on time!- without exception, all of the team were pleasant, friendly and helpful people who you didn’t mind having around - when they’re in your living space for weeks on end, that’s important! They also cleaned up after themselves- the work was all signed off by building control without any issues whatsoever- even once the work had all been completed (and fully paid), they helped resolve an issue with a drain (which turned out not to be their fault at all) and Paul even came over at 4am in the morning to resolve an issue with a smoke alarm!!Most importantly, we felt that they cared and wanted to do a good job for us. As a result, we’re delighted with the end result.

We're so pleased we chose them to do the work as from quoting to completion they have been fantastic. The quote was competitive and broken down thoroughly so we knew exactly what was included. We had a wall and a chimney breast removed to create an open plan kitchen diner, patio doors to replace a window, new kitchen and our outhouse upgraded so it is now an insulated and more useable utility space with toilet. Paul sorted all structural sign offs which made things easy.The whole team were considerate, they put up a temporary wall to prevent dust passing into the lounge and protected existing features of the house. They always left things as tidy as possible. One of the most important things for us was being able to trust them in our house when we weren't around, it was a lot less stressful than we expected.We felt consulted throughout and didn't return home to find things had been completed without checking exactly what we wanted.The work has dramatically improved our living space and that's thanks to Paul listening to our ideas and giving advice when we didn't know what we were talking about. You can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work.If there were any slight issues that needed addressing a quick call to Paul meant he'd get them sorted for us ASAP. He was always easy to contact and approachable.We're saving for a new bathroom now and won't hesitate to use Paul and his team again.

Very happy with the work completed by Paul, Martin and the team. We had them in our house for 2 weeks while they removed a supporting wall, fitted a steel support beam. Also removed, blocked, insulated and bricked up a back door. amongst a several other jobs. They did alot of work at a very competitive price, the craftmanship was genuinely awesome, leaving the house clean and tidy every day and they are just really nice people (even looked after the dog!). Nice to find a company you can trust, I highly recommend. Thanks again!

Paul and his team completed a kitchen extension (including installation of rsj) and bathroom renovation of my Victorian terrace. I'm delighted with the result and high standard of finish. They were fantastic on every level - delivered as promised (on time and budget) with workmen on site every day and approved by building inspectors without issue. Nothing was too much trouble. Particular shout out to Mark and Russel whose excellent workmanship and kindness was particularly appreciated.

The team at T.A Smith refurbished my rental property bathroom from scratch, & installed several radiators. Competitively priced, but the quality of furniture & fittings provided is high, as is the workmanship. Paul, the boss is a lovely helpful chap. Very pleased I chose them and would recommend to anyone :)

We are so happy with the work T A Smith has completed on our property in Bournville. We have had a load bearing wall knocked down, redesigned kitchen/diner, kitchen fitted including electrics, new radiators, new floors laid, new windows/patio doors, internal doors moved, a downstairs toilet fitted under the stairs, and more! They worked quickly and tidily, there were no hidden costs, and the standard of work upon completion is outstanding. The attention to detail was so impressive. Not only this, but all workmen we dealt with were friendly, polite and approachable. They were also very accommodating - allowing us to add on extra jobs while they were here and adjusting the timeline so that we could get a kitchen with a slightly longer lead in time than planned.
