Klein maar een erg persoonlijk museum over de periode 44-45 in de Betuwe. Elk item heeft wel zijn eigen verhaal. Zeer de moeite waard als je geïnteresseerd bent in de periode rond Market Garden.

Betuws War Museum 'The Island' 1944-1945
Amazing museum! Compact but filled to the brim with a wealth of original artifacts, uniforms, photos and stories. Incredibly knowledgeable curator Marcel has a tale to accompany nearly every piece in his collection. Expect to spend an hour or so, if you would like to hear them all. He was even so kind as to open up for us on a day off, but be sure to arrange it ahead of time. Well worth the 5 euro entrance fee.
